We decided to check out this place when we had a sudden craving for BBQ. We are very impressed with their ribs. The half slab is a very generous portion and the ribs were very meaty, tender, and flavorful. You can choose sweet BBQ or signature (half sweet and half spicy) for sauce for ribs.

I was a bit skeptical when I called in for a brisket sandwich and told they were all out. Seems odd for a barbecue place on a holiday weekend not to have. The reviews sounded promising I decided to order the fried shrimp with potato salad and macaroni and cheese sides. Given the price of $14 dollars I was expecting the sides to be of more premium quality and bigger portions. They were overall just not good. The potato salad was mushy, Mac and cheese had no flavor. The shrimp seemed like something I’d pick up from the freezer aisle and cook in the oven. I was expecting to be full given price for the meal and not even close. I feel like I’ve been burned.

I ordered rib tips sides , and fish basket. The order was ready at the promised time. The rib tips and fries were delicious, potato salad was average, a little runny. I would definitely order from here again.

We ordered rib tips, catfish, fries, mac n cheese, and coleslaw. The tips were too chewy. There were some nice pieces with bark, but overall they just weren't cooked properly and too dry. Signature sauce was ok, but not much of it. The catfish was one of the better options, although it was a little heavily breaded and somewhat dry as well. Fries are also breaded, which you're either a fan of or not. They weren't great. The mac n cheese looked so good, but was overcooked and really bland. The coleslaw was very good and one of the best items, fresh, crunchy, the right amount of dressing and tartness. Overall, I was disappointed, because we need more good BBQ options!

Huge thumbs up for Signature Slabs! So happy to support a Black Owned Business. Visited for the first time today and had a delicious lunch: fried catfish with sides of mac 'n' cheese and cole slaw. The bread that came with was just a slice of white sandwich bread (not a roll or corn bread) but that didn't bother me. I'm looking forward to going back!

Let's begin, the place is clean. I'm not here for that though. 1) Turkey tips were very dry and tough. 2) Sweet potato pie too much nutmeg flavor, more for pumpkin pie. 3) My original order was for two caramel cakes had to settle for sweet potato, blah!

I ordered a hr ago and I truly wish they had 10 stars plus rating. Every thing was delicious and fulfilling....My son loved his ribs and chocolate cake. He couldn't finish all his food and that is a 1st. So I will definitely be back.keep up the AMAZING cookingMonica
