I ordered my daughter some crab cakes and it was mushy and undercooked. The taste of it was bland and it tasted like canned salmon and not crabmeat. Worst $10 ever

Over the past 11 years, I have been curious about this small business. Today, I had the chance and stepped in, ending up having lunch. What a great surprise, the freshest red snapper I have ever eaten in the Midwest, a generous portion (for some, it might be small, for me, it was perfect), with pasta (simple, just a few spices) and boil veggies. Well done John!!John has been in business for about 28 years!! He is the sales person, the cashier, the chef, etc etc hahaha… what a splendid level of energy. I hope the community keeps supporting him.Yes, the kitchen needs a bit of attention, I didn’t mind and I’m glad I give it a try.I want to keep trying your food.Btw, lunch is $10,99

Nice Pluto drop by and pickup some great fish dishes. They are not a restaurant but a fish store to buy and cook at home. Usually not too busy and the staff are Soto help to address your needs.Nice and clean store with some display cases and lots of freezer space.

The best place to get fish in the area and it isn't remotely close. Fish here is fresher than some markets I've been to on the coasts. Unlike other markets, you know that what you are paying for is actually what you are getting as shown by the patterns on the fish's skin which are still clearly visible due to its freshness.

Really enjoy coming to this quaint seafood shop, and the wonderful staff. The gentleman said he's owned it for several decades, and he had great knowledge of the flavors and was very patient while I asked him questions. Do NOT walk out without grabbing their freshly made crab cakes. Everyone I have had try them have said they're the best they've ever had! We also love their homemade salmon burgers. So glad we stumbled on this hidden gem!

Not much to look and kinda plain inside but the guy was extremely knowledgeable about all of his products and gave me a great insight on fish.. I took his advice on the Norwegian Salmon and it was very fresh and turned out perfect. Definitely worth the time to check out.. It's not cheap but really good seafood, never is. I definitely was pleased and will be returning again next time I want Salmon.. 100% better quality than any of that farm raised garbage sold at any of the regular grocery stores.

Me and my family have been shopping here for decades. You will not find a better selection of fresh seafood anywhere. Also the owner is very friendly and knowledgeable and the products he carries. He will help you find whatever fish you like and will even help suggest some ways of cooking it.

First time customers, we bought salmon and shrimp. We cooked the salmon filet in it was delicious! Tender and flaky we cooked it in our airfryer. The shrimp where tasty and perfect size for salad.

The restaurant is dirty. Don't use the bathroom - filthy and the toilet does not flush. The food was less than fair. Do not purchase a restaruant.com coupon. Stay away.

Owners are very knowledgeable and helpful, fish is fresh, prices are affordable. If they don't have it, let them know and they'll have it the next day!

My daughter and I went in to check out their fresh fish and maybe get a few pounds for dinner. So many people have recommended this store as the best place to get fresh seafood in the area.I was instantly repulsed by the stench of stale cigarette smoke when we entered. There was no one in the store but us and a middle aged man in the kitchen area who said “Hello” and that was it. The kitchen was dirty and not well kept and it was only 11:00 am. I wouldn’t eat anything coming out of that kitchen. Then we walked past the deep freezer of old forgotten sea creatures that I don’t think could possibly have been displayed less appealingly. It was sad. Then I saw where the sadness truly lives in this little baitshopesque space. The fresh fish. Ha! All species were tossed in the dirty showcase with price cards from the ‘70s poked through their drying flesh. This is where that frozen stuff to your left comes from and I’m pretty sure the reason most folks who seem to like the food here is that it’s fried in batter. None of what I saw would have been served to anyone’s liking in a simple browned butter sauce. We lasted a few minutes and the smell and the willies I was getting from the crud on the floors and serving surfaces did me in. I wish It was betterHaving lived on both coast’s I’m always expecting too much from the seafood in the midwest… but this… whew!

One of the only places I can find a variety of wild caught fresh fish to cook at home. Highly recommend them, they’re always nice and a pleasure to deal with. It’s a fish store with fryers and a grill in the main area, expect a bit smell/smoke occasionally, you’ll be alright.
