The Korean Chirashi is awesome. I also had the Katsu box (pork)...loved it!

I love this place! Delicious, very reasonably priced food. My wife and I pick up from here pretty often. We'll come in, place our order, then grab some groceries while we wait (usually takes about 10 min for the 2 meals). The staff is super friendly! The management's removed a ton of seating in the food court area, so you can actually socially distance Everyone working at Sushihana + H-Mart wears masks + gloves **properly** (no noses hanging out, chin straps, etc.) Highly recommend checking it out for great food on the go!

ONE TWO TONKATSUYou can enjoy fried cutlets and fresh sushi at this unassuming stall inside Naperville's H-Mart.Dinner with friends on 12/28/19 was supposed to go down at the nearby Happy Lamb hot pot, but without enough people to make a reservation (and not wanting to wait 1-1/2 hours), our group of 4 mobilized and found another place to eat. I suggested Sushihana without realizing exactly where it was located. We were surprised to discover that the large supermarket just off of Ogden houses a food court with different Asian cuisines (Zen's Noodles, a Korean-style snack stand, rolled ice cream, etc). After placing an order at the counter, grab a seat in one of the cheap plastic chairs and they'll bring it out to you.I thought the pork tonkatsu box ($9) was an outstanding deal. Crispy strips of cutlet came with a brown sauce, large portion of rice, 6pc California roll, 2 mini gyoza, and lightly dressed cabbage. It was delicious, filling, and very fairly priced. I'd get this again in a heartbeat. The #19 "fire chief" roll ($9 for 9pc) had cucumber, avocado, tempura crunch, and tobiko with spicy mayo. My bottled green tea was $3, though it was the exact same brand I drank in Japan over the summer so I didn't mind paying more for the real thing.Nichole C ordered the #22 smoked salmon ($10), a tasty 9pc maki roll. She supplemented that with a #5 combo ($8): 6pc spicy tuna roll with 3pc nigiri, and a ramune soda (one of those marble-pop fizzy drinks) for $2. Everything elicited a thumbs-up from her.Bread = 4.5Circuses = 3Our dining companions found their sushi choices equally satisfying; their 5 maki rolls were presented on a wooden serving tray in the shape of a fish. Everyone was given a miso soup, which is a nice gesture -- the styrofoam container it's served in is purely a budget move, but oh well. The only thing that truly bothered me was the growing mound of dirty dishes piled up in front of the stand. They were wrapping up their dinner hour, and the small crew couldn't keep up with the number of plates (which were stacked several feet high by the time we left), so they just let it accumulate. Hygiene -1* TL;DR *Try not to let appearances deceive you: Sushihana serves great stuff at reasonable prices. Everything tasted high-quality, especially the pork tonkatsu (indistinguishable from what I ate in Tokyo some months back). Only one sushi master was working when we visited, and that equated to a fairly long wait.If I found myself shopping at this H-Mart again, I'd probably try out the ramen booth before returning here, but I would happily come back to Sushihana.

I've been here multiple times. I cannot believe their pork katsu box, along with six pieces of sushi, is only $9! It's absolutely delicious, the owner is always super nice, and their other sushi options are delicious too! Would highly recommend this!

The food court in H-Mart divides out major Asian cuisines among the booths. One booth is for Korean food. One is for Chinese. One is for Japanese. Sushihana is the Japanese booth. Run by a family, I appreciated the meal and service. Unassuming, humble, nothing too fancy - but hits the spot for whatever you may be craving. My husband got the sushi rice bowl and I got the cold soba noodle - perfect for a hot summer day! You place your order at the counter. The menu is very clear with accompanying pictures for the specials. You pay on the spot and receive your order number. When your meal is ready, they will call your number so you can pick up your tray at the same counter where you ordered. After eating, you just return the tray to the cart by that same counter. (This is true for each booth in this food court.)
