We got the chkn bites and the batter on these is sooooo good. They are the best thing I have tried out. The owner is very kind and he cooks it all himself. W loved it so much we got the beef tacos and chkn tender to go for dinner. 100% recommend coming here even if you aren’t vegan. We also got a few of their homemade drinks which were very good as well. Thank you for a great experience while we were in town!

Happened to find this place when I had to go to the DMV. We don't have any vegan restaurants by us so I just had to stop in and buy something for my wife and I. I got several items for us to share: jerk tacos, chickn tenders, and the polish sausage. My wife inhaled the polish sausage before I got to try it ? So that was obviously delicious! The tacos were spicy and super good!! Our favorite was the lions mane chickn tenders! OMG out of this world amazing! Both the ranch sauce and Buffalo sauce were perfect with it! I can't wait to go back and try more things (and get more tenders!).

Came here for the first time with a friend who is strictly vegan. I eat vegan, vegetarian, and meat. We both got the 6 piece chkn with fries. (Not listed below). It was flavorful, hot, fresh, and crispy. The mushrooms (used in place of real chicken) were delicious and I loved the shoestring fries which were also crispy and fresh. The menu has lots of choices. Small establishment with friendly staff and reasonable prices. Can't wait to go back and try other things.

I stopped by the Vegan Bar today for a quick lunch. I experienced a lion's mane chicken (not chicken) sandwich...so good! I live in Hazel Crest, so far away. Will you open a joint up near me please?
This is a small gem. I was greeted pleasantly and suggestion to customize my order was met easily. I had the "shrimp" and a small salad. Crisp tasty with a hint of heat shrimp served with fresh greens and strawberries on top. They checked to make sure strawberries were OK.Delicious and I'll be back. A couple of high tables with chairs for eating in are available.

My teen daugther and I had a late lunch here today. My daughter got the avocado (vegan) cheese burger. After she took her 1st bite she said, "mmm, this is really good." I ate the cauliflower with avocado wrap. So delicious. The food is fresh, which i appreciate. I can't wait to try different sandwiches on the menu.

I don’t often leave reviews, but I absolutely had to drop a review for Vegan Bar because I adore their food. Everything they offer is great, and the vegan cheeseburgers in particular are something special. Everything from the taste to the texture is just perfect (I always go for the jalapeño double cheeseburger). The service is great too. I just have to stop by every time I’m back in town. Could not recommend more
