Had the WORST meal of the pandemic here yesterday.Husband had Beef Basil, son had Crispy Calamari and King crab Rangoon. I had Seafood Curry Soup and Sweet Potato Pancake. All we could do was discuss how terrible it was when we got home with it. I don't know how my husband suffered through that corn starch coated, sautéed gray-colored meat, thick gloppy sauce, and barely cooked vegetables. (He really hates waste). My son and I threw it all out and ordered from Nickys and we both were in heaven! I threw mine out because the so-called Seafood Curry Soup had Indian curry spice mix, NOT Thai chili paste or coconut milk which this dish is known for. The calamari my son had included about 6 overly-browned, dried out & cold pieces. Everything was just a $40 mess. Will NEVER return.

I've ordered from them a few times so far. Sushi has usually been above average. We did order the pad Thai which I do not recommend. Definitely not the typical pad Thai and felt like I was eating sugar sauce on noodles..no one wanted to eat more than a few bites. So if you're reading this, do not order the pad Thai if you are looking for authentic, decent pad Thai. Please wild rice change how you cook this dish!

A hidden gem! We didn't want to wait over an hour to get into our usual sushi place and discovered Wild Rice based on other local reviews. The sushi, service and prices were all outstanding. Small, quaint and comfortable dining room. Service was great. Staff very friendly.

The owner is super nice and knows us by name. The food is always very fresh and delicious. I order takeout from here often as well and they have never once messed up my order or forgotten anything. My favorite neighborhood sushi place! Could not recommend more!

Our new favorite sushi place! Great sushi at very fair prices - and the nigiri are always cut generously. Their COVID-19 precautions are very good too; no concerns at all with getting takeout from Wild Rice.

This might not be the best sushi you’ve had, but it is the best sushi place in Naperville. Friendly staff and decent food. They had a curry soup which was unexpectedly really good. I usually get the Teriyaki Shrimp which comes with miso soup, a salad with delicious dressing and a bowl of rice

Excellent service and excellent sushi. This is the most underrated sushi place in Naperville. It doesn't get the hype of Shinto or Wild tuna or Blue or any of those "cool" places - but if you just want excellent creative sushi, great service and not feel like you got ripped off - this is your place. If you want to be "cool" and impress your friends feel free to go to the other places. The quality of the fish is amazing. This staff is always friendly and polite. They have great items and combinations on the menu. Go here for carry out until they start dining in house. Stop wasting your money at the other places

Good sushi, folks I was with thought it was one of the better places in the area. I wish they had their menu marked cooked/raw for the folks who don't do raw fish. Still only doing carry-out when I was there due to Covid.
We ordered 3 appetizers and 2 entrees. The shumai was soggy and overcooked. The calamari had a hard rubbery texture and a sweeter batter. The entrees were very greasy and tasted bland. Disappointing so will not be ordering again.

I go to this place from time to time! This is my favorite restaurant to have a bite. I visit this spot frequently. The meals are fantastic, the workers are welcoming and the charge is reasonable. I like meeting in this spot over a tasty supper.
Went here on Friday because every other sushi place we looked at was closed, but this was definitely a hit! I got the rainbow naruto roll and lucky 7 roll which were both really good, but the rainbow naruto was not wrapped in rice, but in cucumber- which the menu doesn't state. Other than that, Wild Rice did not disappoint! My boyfriend got the nabeyaki udon which was super good too! Due to social distancing, we didn't get to eat inside, but they have a system at the door so it was practically contactless.
