We have to travel no less than 800 miles get here but this place has a special section of our hearts.My wife's brother worked this location for many years prior to his passing.Whenever we visit Chicago, we make sure to have a meal here to honor him.The service is always fantastic.The food... oh dear God, the food... from the Chicago dog to the Italian beef, everything is worth it.The cake shake is dangerous to your waistline but so good.This was our last trip to the area for a while and it literally hurt a little to leave.Highly recommend to anyone who has never experienced this place.

Waiting over a half an hour in the drive-thru is completely unacceptable. What is going on in there? Short-staffed? The foods going to cold by the time we even eat it. And for over $60? I’m going to limit my trips here to maybe once per year.

Completely screwed up our order. Wife ordered a salad without chicken, and they put chicken in it. I ordered a Chicago combo bowl and got the beef and no Italian sausage. Unfortunately we didn’t know it until we got home. Wasn’t worth the drive back. Won’t be back.
We utilized the drive-thru about 9pm, no line so it all was quick! Great food, chocolate malt was delicious! Employee was friendly at pick up.

We enjoy our food here but it always hit or miss. It is never a consistency of good food. As another customer mentioned, they tend to never get your order right. No pickles means don't put pickles on my burger. Directions are sure not followed here. The beef and burgers are their best items and the fries seem to be hit or miss in taste. Please slow down and do better. We use to get really good meals from here.
