Love h mart for their selection of fermented foods, tea, food, court, baked goods, Korean beauty, skin, care, and more.

Huge disappointment in their food and their poor customer service . I want H Mart to know that I did not hear from their customer service team as they had sent me an email saying that they will review my issue but nobody communicated from HMart.

Honestly a lifesaver while I was traveling and trying to lose some weight for a competition. They have a variety of sushi and raw fish that I ate during the week to lose water weight. It was cheap and efficient and I took some to go to explore the waterfront and bike around. Thanks!

This place is HUGE. Definitely has a better selection of items than the one in the city, and it's also very clean. Has just about every Asian grocery item I need--except for natto. I walked around for a good while looking for my natto but couldn't find any and that made me very sad. :(

This place is amazing! I could spend all day here eating, looking at food, and eating again. I particularly love the Korean facial masks which I always buy on my way out the door and use weekly at home.

I love love love H Mart. It is truly life changing. I love that it has such a variety of various asian foods, not just Korean. The selection is just wonderful and the produce is sometimes often the best I can find in any grocery store. The H Mart in Niles is usually pretty quiet and I've come at various times and days before. It's extremely easy to navigate as well - as it's extremely organized, well stocked, and clean. There are lots of employees roaming around and constantly stocking shelves so help is never too far away. This has become my go-to spot for any meats I'm planning on cooking for a nice homemade asian meal. The thin sliced meats are just unbeatable in my opinion.

I was absolutely shocked on how big this store was and the variety of foods that I can't buy at most other stores! It was truly a treat to shop here and definitely worth the drive to the larger location! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for all types of different Asian foods! They also carry a generous amount of American staples as well. Warning though if you don't like the smell of fish be prepared for the seafood department they have tons of fish displayed on the sales floor for easy access to customers.

Super expensive and sold me spoiled food . I personally wouldn't recommend items from their hot bar. Quality has declined over the years . Pros: clean, carts always available . Toreore chicken is amazing

The store is GREAT, this review is for the little RESTAURANT selling SUSHI, it is expensive and bad, really bad with zero taste, so don't waste your money. Mariano's sushi made buy Hispanic kids is much better.

Very big fun market to shop in. Not only do they have food but they have services as well such as a barbershop, restaurants and a salon. If you're not familiar with Asian food I would do my research on what you want to purchase as it can be a little overwhelming on what to buy.

Ample parking. Huge variety of produce and meats. Nice liquor selection too. Pastry bakery place inside has the best cakes! This is our favorite H-mart in Illinois!

Just left the store, 2nd time since March I've seen a mouse run through the store. What are you doing to control rodents?! This time it ran underneath the wooden pallets in the front!

This is a grocery store with food vendors in the store front. This store is not the favorite of some people but they don't know what they are missing. Certain ethnic foods are in abundance which are Asian, go figure! But you need it to try it. The vendors are diverse but very good. The hot dog vendor is definitely different but you need to try different things. I'm over 70 and European heritage and my 11 year old granddaughter is 1/2 Mexican and the vendor with the spicy pork fried rice was the best I ever had. My granddaughter ate 1/2 the larger order herself and went back 2 days later with one of her friends and got another full order and they ate the entire order. The sushi vendor has some late night food specials that are good too and good miso soup. Overall it is a different experience. As for the grocery store I found it to be very diverse and some packages are not in English but you need to expand your selection of items to get to know what is available and what you might like.

I love the fancy pencil there it's so cute and they have hello kitty stuff and a lot of other cute things like that but when I get in the place its freezing so I recommend wearing a jacket when going in there

Early on a rainy Sunday morning the store is empty, relatively speaking. This is the perfect time to peruse the sales items, examine the produce, search for the elusive Turtle chips (churro-- found two in the store). gasp at the enormous shrimp on ice, load up on a few staples, snatch a few hot prepared items...Revel in the smells of roasted sweet potato, hot fried chicken, nutty rice cakes....Alas, there are many things to do this morning so we don't linger. Although we compare all the different face masks and bubble hair dyes, we walk through the new gachapon capsule section. It's always fun to come to H Mart and today is no exception. Although the rain threatens to continue all through the day, inside at H Mart is always a good day.
