Unfortunately the lumpia shanghai were so not delicious. The crispy pork was unflavored/not seasoned and greasy and I would guess yesterday's crispy pork. Unfortunately I was really looking forward to some of grandma's cooking and I got my crazy uncles cooking at best. I'm so bummed. Even the garlic rice was disappointing.

We wandered in just cuz it looked cool and it knocked it out of the park. While we decided what to order they gave us samples of their chicken jalapeño lumpia and chatted with us. We got the mixed mini lumpia, pork skewers, BBQ Bulgogi Bao, crab lumpia and a coconut smoothie. All of it was so incredibly good. I can’t wait to go back - we’ll definitely dine in next time.

I really wanted to like it, but I am sooooooo disappointed. The eggrolls were bland. I ordered the mixed. The pancit malabon is NOT malabon. It just noodles colored with anato and barely had shrimp, but it's supposed to have different types of seafood. Again, it's bland. The ube cupcakes were super dry and the inside were not cooked. Ugh! I won't be going back, especially when the guy at the cupcake counter was rude. The guy in the front was nice though.

100% honest opinion: this business thrives because of its exceptional hospitality. From the free handouts to the constant reassurance of your comfort. But when it comes down to the food…. It’s below average. I may be hurting feelings when I say this but the taste of their actual food menu items (not from the bakery) is really unappetizing. My pho broth tasted really funky, almost like cow manure.. or a horse farm. The other dishes were definitely average, if I were served somewhere else, maybe a place with average customer service, it would’ve received a 1 star rating. The bakery items were also overly sweet and drenched in sauce/sugary substance.Overall, the 4.6 rating and flood of positive reviews seem like they’ve been arrange or influenced by other factors.

We've done carry out a couple times, and they even gave my husband a soda to drink while he waited the first time he was there. The food is good, and good portions. My favorites are the lumpia (called pork egg rolls on their menu, but they're traditional Filipino lumpia) and the chicken and pork kebabs. (I prefer a la carte items like this to full meals.)Also, the Sans Rival (a Filipino dessert delicacy) is heavenly.

Cute and cheerful cafe with Filipino sweets and dishesWe came to Eggrolly after dinner so I'm only commenting on the sweets portion.First, what a charming and sweet cafe when you enter. There are brightly colored booths, friendly graphics on the wall. Smoothies are made to your left, but the bakery counter beckons with its brightly frosted cupcakes and assortment of Ensaymada Brioche- a tender sweet dough. We tried a brioche with Ube and shockingly it was served with a generous serving of shredded cheese. It was actually quite delicious with the lightly sweet and tender dough with sweet purple Ube. We actually quite liked the cheese on top because it was mellow and gentle, not sharp, and gave a richness to the pastry. We also ordered a halo halo, an ube shave ice with jelly and coconut strips and gulaman. The ube latte was rich and sweet and purple and piping hot. Will return to try the lumpia or the namesake egg rolls.

Visiting from out of state and wanted to eat some filipino food. Great menu and fairly priced as well. Andre brought my family a ube ensaymada as a dessert for no charge and it was delicious! Made fresh. You can really taste the difference between the corporate filipino bakeries and here! Will come back again!! The cupcakes were good too
