Stayed here for two nights. Staff are friendly, welcoming and the hotel is clean. They have snacks for the guests in the lobby too. My room was comfortable. Although with some loose fixtures in the bathroom. But nothing crazy. The plumbing can be loud as other guests wake up in the AM and shower. The location is not near any restaurants so plan dinner out before returning to this hotel. They do have a breakfast counter. Overall, very workable for short term business travelers.

We have dined here several times. Excellent food, nice ambiance! Great service. Defiantly a place to try out!

Although this is a small lobby restaurant in the Marriott, don't look past their signature Cherry Old Fashioned - wow! A class A cocktail and a wonderful bartender who made them just right ! Ordered Chimichurri steak and there seems to be a difference of opinion on medium rare (mine was bright red even after sending back) but the service (by same named awesome bartender ) was wonderful and truly made our experience the best - i only wish I would have asked her name for this review ! Within all the small restaurants and hotels in this area, we were pleasantly surprised ! We had a great time.

Our experience was exceptional. Clean, comfortable room. And the help we received from Lawrence Horvath after we left was above and beyond! We have family in Normal, IL, and we will stay at this establishment again, when in town.

Old Hotel, been redone/refinished with some cracks showing maybe an old La Quinta for Comfort Inn that has been re-purposed not the typical layout for a Residence Inn some criminal activity in the area - not sure - but I did see the police leaving the building once Room was clean no breakfast or coffee downstairs except for a la carte for pay

Was on the road and needed a place to stay for the night I wanted to stay somewhere more "upscale", and that had an indoor pool in the Bloomington/Normal area so I chose to stay here at Courtyard. Check in was easy staff is pretty nice.I got a 3rd floor room with a balcony, very nice room, like most other Courtyard hotels. Very stylish and new looking, indoor pool is nice, they have a fitness center too. They don't have free breakfast though which isn't cool. They seemed to have been recently renovated carpets and fixtures in the hotel are brand new looking and look newer than the exterior of the hotel. Very nice I will stay again if in the Bloomington/Normal area.

Listed as 'pet friendly' and 'breakfast' the pet fee is $150. Not deposit, FEE. Have to pay for breakfast. They charged me $219 for this lackluster room as well as expedias fee of $172. So $391 total for this room for one night. No one knows what they are doing here. No pool. No restaurant as they claim. Not recommended at all! Run!

Not sure why this Courtyard got such poor reviews that made us nervous at check-in. Everything was very clean, beds were comfortable and staff was friendly and accommodating. We would stay here again.

Horrendous customer service. We were told we could check in at 1, since we had a wedding at 4:30. They kept pushing it back and eventually wouldn't let us in our room until 4, when we had to leave at 3:30. Ended up getting ready in the bathroom. Staff was very rude and unapologetic.

Our stay here was amazing. The entire staff was extremely accommodating. We came for my daughters 7th birthday. They helped make sure our room was setup and had placed balloons in the room for her. They also were very accommodating in helping us keep the birthday cake cold. This place is awesome and takes their customer service very seriously and does an excellent job.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Kristine and Kevisha do an excellent job keeping this hotel together and running smooth. Clean rooms, comfy beds, great food when the Bistro is open. Although the bistro is closed during the pandemic, the staff makes sure they meet your needs as best as they can. Be it business or a family trip I’ve always enjoyed my stay at Courtyard Marriott Bloomington/Normal. They have become my extended family.

First I'd like to tell you what brings me to Normal Illinois. A new electric car company named Rivian has settled in normal / bloomington area and will be a fully automated production facility creating electric vehicles such as R1T Trucks and R1S Suv's. Because of this new facility hundreds of workers including unions, tool makers, electricians and more have flooded this area taking up vacancies at all hotels nearby. I am staying at the Courtyard Marriott 310a Greenbriar dr. In Normal Illinois. The GM at this location Kristine Revenal has been most accommodating. Since I have checked into her hotel in January It is now March 15th. I have witnessed Kristine go out of her way to ensure everybody stay at her facility has been nothing short of outstanding. She has been working around the clock and picking up shifts outside of her requirements and has personally went to purchase items such as microwaves and TVs to update rooms for her patrons. At Courtyard Marriott you are guaranteed a hot cup of coffee at any hour while some guests are on day shifts and some are on split shifts or even third shift. The 24-hour service of expertise is the only reason I have stayed at this hotel for this long. And believe me not having a kitchenette is a sacrifice for the good service. I would highly recommend this location for all travelers whether it be leisure time or business. In my opinion Kristine has proven to be an asset while adjusting to whatever needs her customers have. She is already a winner in my book and still deserves more. Anyways thank you very much for your time and I hope this is helpful in any way for future business. Having outstanding day!

This is a small town hotel just trying to maintain during a pandemic so I'm going to go light on them. Let's start with the positives shall we? Pros - Polite and friendly staff. Everyone who worked there was very kind and attentive. I believe this says a lot about the hiring manager! Kudos to you person who found the nice staff, because it matters. Great location. Close to a Walmart, gas stations, restaurants and not too far off the expressway for those traveling through town, I will definitely take it! :) Free parking - most Marriotts charge for parking daily so it was nice to see a large parking lot included free of charge. Multiple elevator banks so during a pandemic you don't have to worry about long waits and people who insist on breaking rules to get out faster. Speaking of the pandemic they were super respectful of social distancing and put notes on the elevator stating 2 per elevator or one family at a time, thank you! All staff wore masks, and cleaned services regularly. They had hand sanitizer, a basket to put old key cards and nearly new furniture in the lobby. The rooms had the typical microwave, mini fridge and black out curtains which came in handy since we had a long drive. There is a courtyard Bistro that services breakfast, coffee and dinner or drinks in the evenings. It was not open but I suspect that was because of the low occupancy rates due to this being a college town on winter break. Comfortable beds and extra pillows. They have a large pool and hot tub. It's clean but very empty because of the pandemic. It was nice to walk by and see the clean blue water. If I hadn't arrived so late I would have gone for a swim. The price was affordable for a king sized room in a safe area. Cons - The toilet was dirty. It was the kind of dirty that you don't see in Marriott hotels. It has a ring around the inside like someone hadn't bothered to take a toilet brush to it in weeks but the outside was clean. Helpful hint pouring cleanser in there and letting it sit should break that stain down. There was a stain on the floor in between the tile. It was nothing to be too worried about but it looked like something that could have been bleached away if the cleaning staff put in an attention to detail and scrubbed it away. The room was set up nicely with a large comfy chair, but unfortunately it had a big black stain on the ottoman that looked like someone left chewing gum that got black over time, I believe this should have been scrapped off. It makes you not want to take off your shoes or socks and relax which is the point of being in a hotel instead of on the road when you are tired. Those small touches matter because it makes you uncomfortable seeing dirt left over by other people, right? The fridge and freezer for market kitchen only had one lonely food item in it. A box of Mac and cheese that no one wanted so far. They managed to keep a few beers of different kinds and all cold enough to enjoy but it would sell a bit better if paired with food. Flat screen TVs that aren't smart TVs and a remote control that doesn't work. Only the on button, volume and channel up and down. The input, menu button etc didn't work so we gave up on watching tv. It would be nice to have a smart tv like the other Marriotts where patrons can sign into their streaming accounts. Would I go there again? Yes, but I would have asked to switch rooms when I saw the toilet and the remote control it I was staying anything longer than a night. It's not a bad hotel. It wasn't filthy but they should scrub the rooms and remove stained carpet and furniture.

We mainly just came here to get a quick bite to eat after checking out of the Marriot Hotel. I loved the Grilled Cheese and the dipping sauce was like a zesty, tangy sauce that gave my Grilled Cheese a shake! This bistro has more variety than most, but it is still quite limited. However, the quality is exceptionally good. There is a server, Mike, who has been there for sooo long which he is sweet and a warm conversation. I wasn't too interested in the full menu, just Grilled Cheese is my go-to. Nick got a burger nothing too deep into it. I liked it because it was convenient place to stop by!
