Always a great experience here. It can get crowded on the weekends but I never have waited a long time to sit or for service. The food is very good! They have a lot of different options including fun shakes! My favorite is the southwest omelet! I loved it as a skillet and tried is as an omelet and fell in love! They have lots of fun pancake options as well. Good meal options with lots to offer making it not that expensive!

the first time i visited i was serviced by a very kind and attentive waiter who made sure we had a wonderful first experience with them, the food was super delicious and well made with great portions for what we paid. the second time i got a not so great server but yet again the food is spectacular so it outweighed the sub-par service he gave us, definitely will continue to visit!

I have no photo to show, because I never received any food. In fact. The server, a woman in her 20-30's, never even bothered to take my order. I walked in with my teen daughter, right behind another couple. They were an older couple, and were very sweet and held the door for us. We were sat around 3 tables away from each other, in the same section and seated exactly 1 minute after them. We saw the server walk by and take their order, chat with them for a bit. She then walks back, puts their order in. Came back another time to check on them. Leaves, come back again, and this time she had their food. She serves them, chats with them again, takes their picture as they just have been celebrating something. It was all very sweet, except for the part where she completely ignore our existence. At this point, I am staring the woman down like hi, you must have forgotten us. She notices my glare and as she walks past me yet again, she mouths, "I'll be with you in a moment." After all this we still tried to wait and give her a chance, but she must have forgotten about us again. Because she serviced and spoke to a few other tables and still didn't even bother taking our order. This older couple was about ready to wrap their food up and we were still waiting to even have our order taken. By the time I saw her walking to our table, I had enough of the disrespect and we were done and ready to go. She sees us about to walk away and says, "can I help you guys" I looked her dead in the face and said, "No you cannot, because we're leaving. Which should make you happy because you didn't seem to care about our existence anyways." I thunk the guy who clears the silverware and plates from the tables looked at us and smiled more than this woman even no bothered to service us. We left and drove over to Denny's on Harlem and the server there, I believe her name was Maria, completely changed our moods. We didn't have to ask her for anything. She took our orders right away. She was very kind and attentive. Always made sure we had everything we needed. Talked with us and even made us laugh a few times. We told her we were so grateful we decided to come there because we just had a bad experience at Elly's and were a little sour about it and she made our days. My daughter and I get mistaken for sisters a lot, instead of mother and daughter. I'm sure this woman thought we were just two friends getting food and didn't care about us or judged us in some way. The saddest part is my daughter begged me to take her here. She's been dying to try the place again, as we'd been here a few times before. Everyone should get treated fairly, no matter what race, age or gender. I do not tolerate discrimination of any kind. Safe to say we will never be coming here again. I also never thought I would be saying Denny's for the win, for filling our bellies and putting a smile on my daughter's face, after this unnecessary experience!

During my recent visit, I encountered a server named Nava C whose service was unsatisfactory. The server’s demeanor was discourteous, and our requests were met with blunt refusals. To exacerbate matters, we were overcharged, doubling the expected cost. The initial welcome was non-existent, and even basic amenities like water were not provided. Thankfully, the manager intervened at the end to offer some assistance. This experience was disheartening and fell far below the standard of hospitality expected

Found this place from reviews while visiting the area. Lots of food and was delicious. We were staying in a hotel nearby and the restaurant was quick on the order and everything was correct. Would definitely recommend if you haven't already been there.

I like to come this place cz of food but last two times service was awful. Two men were serving me but extremely rude to me. Almost throw away my plates and everything. Is this cz i am asian, racist!!?? To get my order, to give my food, to add some coffee they took forever. Also, last server ( old man) told me what to do, told me hold the payment machine what kind of service and attitude is this??? I tip people well if I experience nice service but not this kind. People get what they give!!

I needed to drop someone off at O'hare and was looking for a nearby breakfast spot before my long drive home. Reviews here looked good so I thought I would give it a try. It was easy to get to from O'hare and again easy to get back on the tollway after.I had an excellent omelet and I think the prices are in line with the quality. I also had a large glass of fresh squeezed orange juice which was great. It wasn't too crowded on a Monday morning around 9am. Service was quick and my server was very helpful in answering questions about my gluten free diet. I had gluten free bread toasted and she confirmed the hash browns are gluten free along with the omelet.I highly recommend Ellys

Pleasant surprise! I"m not familiar with the area, but needed to take out of town guests for breakfast. The food was excellent. I had the bagel and loxs. Everything was very fresh. Everyone was satisfied with their meal. I hope go back when I'm in the area.
