Well, my wife and I thought we try Los Girasoles today and was very disappointed in the service rendered. There was only one table occupied when we arrived at 3:30 pm and yet it took quite a while for the waitress to get to our table. When she did, it took quite a while before she brought the water and coffee we asked for. By the way, you only get water if you ask for it. Although the atmosphere was nice, the food was only average. Since I hadn't asked for water initially, I did later and it took about 20 minutes before I recieved it (by which time I had finished my meal). I might go back one evening just for the atmosphere and maybe some appetizers, but probably choose another Mexican Restaurant for dinner. Outside of the nice decor, it was average at best!

Today was my third time giving this place a chance because the reviews seem decent and it's close to my house. I cannot make up the fact that this is the THIRD time in a row I've walked in and the staff just completely ignores us. There were 3 servers and maybe a manager standing at the bar talking for 10 minutes before I eventually left. As much as I would like to try this place I'm done attempting to even try and get a seat. Service is awful, can't say anything about the food since I never got to that part after three attempts of the same service.

First time trying this place. The margaritas, chips, salsa, and guacamole were tasty. They served both a red and green salsa. I ordered ground beef enchiladas with green sauce. The enchiladas had a hard, crispy bottom, and in certain spots, I had to cut them with a knife. They seemed over microwaved like they sat while other food was prepared. The top was dry, with not much sauce and a bit of cheese and drizzled sour cream, which I wish was disclosed on the menu. The meat inside was very dark and seemed deep fried. There was no cheese inside the enchiladas. My husband had steak tacos and a steak quesidilla. The steak in both items consisted of a lot of gristle. The "steak" was tiny chopped up pieces, not strips or chunks. Rice and beans were plain. We'll look for other options next time we want good Mexican food.

Very bad service and the drinks are not what you order, more than an hour for them to serve you the drink ??? I do not recommend them, very bad service, do not come to this place ???

Service was ridiculously slow (on a Sunday around noon). They had only the one server for the whole restaurant and I do think she tried her best, but still felt she should have been more available seeing as there were only four other tables.The men's room was a complete mess from the night before and no one made any effort to pick up all the paper towels and toilet paper that was all over the floor by the time we left.They had an annoying strobe light flashing along with all the other disco lights despite no party going on.Portion sizes were very large, so were the plates leading to a very cramped table.
Great atmosphere but definitely more staff is needed to check up on the tables , I should not have to wait 25 minutes for a drink .

I came in for lunch with my family as soon as it opened. It was our first time dining, and I have to say I was impressed with the overall experience. Service was excellent, food was very good, not too americanized like some other ones in Aurora. We ordered Birria, chiles rellenos, enchiladas rojas, steak tacos, and a combo plater. The only complaint I have is that the food wasn't as hot, temperature wise. It was luke warm. But overall, it's a good family restaurant that I would come again to try other menu items.
