I grew up with Al’s Pizza from its original restaurant in Cicero. They were the greatest! Now we have these satellite outposts. The quality has suffered immensely. A totally flat large, minimal cheese, minimal sausage, minimal mushrooms and not hot when delivered. Charging almost $30 for that!!! They need real pizza makers there. Other famous pizza restaurants are suffering too from poor quality. What happened?

I will say the pizza at Al's did not disappoint this time. This was my child's first time eating Al's pizza and they loved it! The phone etiquette could be improved when calling to place an order by the young man who took our order. But when we picked up our order, the young lady was friendly and helpful. The customer service made all the difference. Thank you to the young lady at the counter.

This place has really great food. It can be a bit pricey for the fact that they don't even give you french fries with their sandwiches that was about the biggest problem I have with them other than that the foods tasty and the service is normally friendly but for $12, I expect french fries with my sandwich.

Some good stuff and some…well just look at the photo of the stuffed mushrooms. They are not terrible but not goo either. We will stick to their pizza for now on.

We've ordered over 100 times from Al's. The last 5 times, our food has been delivered over 30 minutes late and cold. We tried to keep giving them the benefit of the doubt, but they continued to show ineptitude. They've lost a loyal customer and will probably lose more if they don't improve.

Ordered a pizza and other food I asked if the food was going to be delivered by the grinch how it said on the website. The person on the phone said yes it is. When food was delivered the grinch wasn’t here. We called to ask the manager about it. I was put on hold then the person I spoke to when I ordered he was rude and I asked to talk to a manager he said that he’s the manager and that he never said it Would be delivered by the grinch. He said it was the other location I explained the reason we placed the order was for that he said well you order here all the time I never said that maybe you ordered at another restaurant I said that’s not possible because I got my food from you he said well I have no reason to lie I explained I have no reason to lie either and I asked why would I call if you would’ve said no from the beginning then he hung up. We order often and was not expecting customer service like this.
