Great family restaurant Come as you are - no judgment. Eat as much or as little as you want - the place has counter service which means you order at the front and pick up the food when they call your number Everyone there is so friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. All of the staff work hard to make sure everything is right! So many choices ranging from burgers to spaghetti to fish and chips to pizza and so much more People bring their children and their grandparents here. Everyone is welcome! Been coming here forever. Hope they stay here forever!

3/21/24 8:20pm the cleaning with bleach began in the dining area. Restaurant closes at 9pm. The smell of bleach was so strong I could not eat. We left at 8:40pm. Terrible idea to disinfect while customers are literally dining in the restaurant.

Barnaby’s Pizza is a classic, old-school restaurant where you order upfront and then pick up your food at the counter. We started with some appetizers, nachos, and fries, which were decent but not outstanding. However, the pizza was exceptional! We opted for a make-your-own veggie pizza, and it was delicious. A tip: try their house ranch with the pizza—it's so, so good! Overall, Barnaby’s Pizza is a great spot for a casual dining experience with fantastic pizza.

This is a place good for locals. Seems like one of those places where people have been coming forever. Very much a family place. There was a chunky cheese style party going on while I was there. The service is weird. You walk all the way to the back to the cashier and order your stuff. Then you wait to be called on a speaker for your food. So it is very much self service. To get a drink of any kind, you have to go to the bar where they will be very happy to sell you a beer at the same premium price you would pay at an airline. Now for the food. They look busy in that kitchen. But my French onion soup was almost at room temperature. I ordered the "Chicken and spaghetti" and it was soupy, the pasta was a little runny, certainly not fresh pasta. But I didn't expect much for the price. Was not disappointed. No napkins on the table, go figure yourself where they keep them.Smiling must be against the law for these folks. So nevermind a friendly service.I have a suspicion the pizzas are decent here but I didn't get to try a slice. My food was so bland and boring I nearly asked the lady with the loud children's party next to me for a slice. For a local I imagine this place is a tradition filled with great memories. Looks like a place that belongs in The Sopranos with Tonny and friends eating. But if you are business traveling and walk across from the Renaissance across the street, better get something at the hotel or something from your friendly Dasher.

After reading about their pizza, we wanted to give it a go. We found a Barnaby's on our vacation route and it was an experience.Parking was easy. The parking lot was large. Spaces are actually big enough and the parking lot is easy to navigate. We walked in and had no clue what we were doing but we quickly figured it out. There's a drink counter to the left. Order your drinks and have a seat. You can get pitchers of water and soda as well. They also have bottled root beer! To the left of the drink counter and down the hallway are the restrooms. The next counter over is the "sandwich counter" which is where all the items besides pizzas are called to be picked up.Next to that is where you order and pay. And to the right of there is the pizza pick up.If you need plates, forks, etc. you can run up and grab them. And they have someone bussing tables so when you're done you leave everything. The pizza was different than we're used to. The sauce flavor was good. I knew this was thin crust pizza and I love thin crust so I wanted to try it. This was unlike any thin crust I've ever had. Much harder. Little to no flavor in the crust. It's difficult to explain. It was a fun experience and we would definitely try other things if we were in the area again.

I haven't been to Barnaby's in a few years, and regret that decision. On this occasion, I was excited to have the restaurant pop into my head as an option, but sad when I arrived and found it absolutely packed. There was an event going on and while I was excited to see the location slammed, I was sad realizing that I was not experiencing Barnaby's that evening. I will be back and hopefully this time a lot sooner than last.

So everyone loves Barnaby's right? Well not quite everyone. So here is a breakdown. The pizza is good. Pricey for its size. But you get a consistent pie with the great crust and it's a guaranteed instant gratification the moment you shove that greasy, oregano flavored, crispy yumminess in your face. If you plan on dining there it is a bit complicated for those with kids or groups of kids from sporting teams. Just forget B day parties. If you're pregnant stay the heck out because you will just be stuck in a corner. Lol. Ordering pizza is separate from where you get the drinks at the "makeshift" bar area. Finding a table is a bit annoying. It's crowded and you may find a table but it may have other people dishes still on it. The place is basically a first come first serve for families. If you want the best experience do carry out. You get solid pizza and you just go in and pick it up. No long process of staking out your eating spot. Parking lot is small but somehow folks make it work. I deducted a star because of the chaos of dining in and the fact that most menu items are just fried items covered in cheese and marinara or a mediocre beef. The pizza IS GOOD. Get it carry out. Order a lot cuz it's addictive and there is never enough. You should miss most of the annoyances that are in the dim lit "Gaston like" tavern looking dining room and then you should just be able to enjoy the pizza they are known for where ever you would like to. Anywhere but there. Ha. Ha.

**update 02-28-24**Came back to grab more delicious pizza and baked pasta.Have had the pizza from here and we love it this time we ordered the 21 golden brown shrimp basket and it was delicious. The shrimp tasted fresh and the fries were well done just like I asked for. If you have time you should stop by and taste all the great food they offer.

We never had a bad meal at Barnaby's. Their operation is efficient and the staff congenial. The meals are also reasonably priced. It has been our to go to pizzeria a few times.
