The single party cheeseburger I had was very simple but tasted great. You can tell the beef is fresh and high quality. It melts in your mouth. It’s a pretty big patty so you probably don’t need a double unless you’re starving. I added the grilled onions and those only amplified the taste. The fries were good too but they don’t come out salted so I had to add my own.
Stepping in is like going back in time. Wood paneled walls, old beer signs and a small menu make for a cozy experience. There are no menus, just a board on the wall. No prices posted, but be prepared with cash, they don't take cards.

The food is consistently very good & fresh. The burgers are smaller than they used to be & more than a little pricey. The shrimp cocktail is very tasty with horseradish in the sauce. The french fries & coleslaw are also really good too.

The burger was ok. Chili was meh. Cash only but they have an ATM in the lobby. The place filled up fast and seemed to be full of regulars. I'd be back if I was in the area again.
