I should have written this review some time ago. I've been eating here for over twenty years. Georgie V's is excellent food and excellent service all around. ?? More than that though, it's so obvious that ownership, Angelo and his family, care deeply about making their restaurant the best breakfast-lunch place it can be. As a customer, I've seen the restaurant change and develop over time and it's very cool to see a place that is truly focused on achieving excellence for it's customers. If you're looking for a breakfast-lunch place that is consistently great food and has a great atmosphere, then Georgie V's is your spot! I highly, highly recommend.

This place is totally over rated. Last time we went, it took forever to get our tables even there are empty seats. Once we seated, service is very slow. One of our dish was wrong, which served us blueberries instead of strawberries. Well, getting order wrong is one thing, the worst was that when we told the server that it's not strawberry, he argued and tried to convince us that WAS blueberry. That was the time we decided cross this place out of our list to go ever. And the food wasn't that good either.

Excellent! My wife and I were in town for a family event and stopped here for breakfast. It was a good decision! I ordered a greek-style omelette with hash browns and pancakes, my wife ordered a veggie frittata with toast and fruit. The food was perfectly prepared. Service was fast and friendly, only a slight ding was a little fruit fly harassing my wife. The final bill - $28 plus tax. So affordable!
Have come here for 5 years. Likely 100+ times as my wife and I visit most weekends. Have never once had a negative experience. Food is amazing. Service is exceptional. The owner makes you feel like a VIP every time you walk in. Strange to say but it’s our favorite restaurant. Have built great memories and community here.

I understand you didn't allow a Leader Dog in Training into your establishment today, even after the handler showed you the printout of the law.That's a Class C AND a slap in the face to every person who is blind or visually impaired.I wouldn't eat there now if it were the last restaurant in Chicago. A little kindness goes a long way.
