This is a small carry out Thai place. The food was really sweet without any spice. Not even some hot sauce on the side. Also, I don’t recall them asking about any spice preferences.

Small shop, they allowed us to dine in but served food out of to go containers. Counter service. Food was good, lunch special was a great value.

Decent Thai food, flavor is good but portion size could be a bit bigger. I ordered a seafood noodle dish, and the seafood to noodle/veggie proportion was off. Definitely overpaid for the amount of seafood provided in the dish. Restaurant is mostly set up for take out. They do have a couple of high top tables, but I did not see restrooms in the establishment.

Have to o try the Thai style deep fried DingDongs. A real crowd pleaser! The PadThai is super yummy too! Pad SeeEw killer as well.

Amazing lunch special! I got the pad see eww and the portion was bigger than a typical entrée. It also came with an appetizer and water bottle. If you order a curry dish, I'd recommend getting extra rice as the one that comes with is not that big. I've noticed that it's typically not too busy but definitely worth it

Delicious take-out Thai food. Order early if you want the Fresh Spring Rolls. They sell out quick! Pepper and garlic chicken is a favorite!

Best Thai food around. We ordered pad Thai in mild, medium, and hot. Each person was happy with their level of spiciness and the flavor was great. Their chicken wings were also OUTSTANDING. Possibly the best wings I've ever had. They're huge, flavorful, and you get 5 in an appetizer. I would definitely order again!

Pretty good food and vegan options. We decided to order our carry out in the restaurant, because the vegan options weren't easily expressed in the web ordering. Would really prefer some easy way to select the vegan options in the web ordering menus. Ordering in the restaurant really slowed things down. But the very helpful lady explained to me that almost any dished (not just those that are listed in vegetable section of menu) can be made with tofu and made vegan. Like the Thai basil dish, which for some reason is only listed as a chicken basil dish.

Personally, the food was okay. I felt like the pad Thai was too American but the fish cakes were amazing!

Delicious food very quick preparation easy to pick up. It's become a go to for Thai night order in.
Stopped by for a late night dinner. Great service. Staff were friendly and attentive. Clean restaurant with limited seating. The entrees were all delicious.

I have been eating Krua Thai for over 20 years (since they were located in Irving Park). It is not only the best Thai restaurant in all of Chicago, it is my favorite food period! My entire family thanks this wonderful family for their years of service, providing delicious (and homemade) food!

This place is o our way to a store nearby, we decided to give it a try. It was a great decision. I believe this is not a formal restaurant but more like carry out place with couple of tables.Their food looks and tasted homemade and authentic. The ingredients tasted fresh and light.I would love to go there again in the future and try other dishes as well.
