This is a great little cafe that is relatively new. It's tucked away inside Hunterdon Healthcare's Health Campus of offices, so some people may not be aware of its existence. For lunch they have a menu of sandwiches, wraps, paninis, lunch specials & a soup du jour. They also have a great breakfast menu that is available all day. My husband loves their omelet creations and the portions are generous. The employees here are very friendly and flexible and will try to accommodate any requests. They have a menu of smoothies and offer "happy hour" smoothie specials from 3pm-5pm daily. I work nearby and there aren't many inexpensive places where you can go on a lunch break, order at the counter, and have a nice place to sit and relax while you enjoy your meal. I often come here for lunch and my favorite is the zesty garden veggie panini, it's delicious! I wanted to be sure to spread the word about this cafe because it's a little off the beaten path. I think it fills a much needed gap in the variety of eateries in this town.

I have come here multiple times over the last year to year and a half. What used to be a pretty good spot in the area to get a meal without dealing with crowds of people across the street is rapidly spiraling down hill. The morning staff is rude. Plain and simple they spend most of their time on their phones and very little time actually serving the guests. Honestly I go to the McDonalds now for breakfast. I get more friendly service there. The fact that Google maps doesn't even list them as open for dinner and they have been for at least a year says a lot about how this restaurant is managed. Out of the 4 managers I've seen in there in the last year only one seemed like they actually cared about customers at all. And they got rid of her. The rest seem more wrapped up in their "superiority" as managers. Not really doing anything but strutting around as if they were the king of the universe, or sitting in the bar getting drunk talking loudly for all to hear about how their employees aren't doing anything right. I could possibly see their point since only one of the servers seems to take her job seriously. A week ago I was in there and just got to see the new "night manager" in action. He is the perfect example of a young kid who really thinks he's got the world figured out and isn't even qualified to manage a lemonade stand let alone a restaurant. The way he talks to and about his employees and the customers when he thinks no one can hear him is appalling. It is because of him I have taken the time to write a lengthy review, a letter to the corporate office, and will not be eating here anymore. I would suggest you don't either.
