Do not recommend. At all other Costco locations when you use self checkout, you do not have to wait in the line at the exit. Here, the worker requires you to wait in the long line and argues with customers. She also does not speak fluent English which is a problem when you are going to be dealing with customers.

Costco has gone worse in customer service. Today (03/07 @ 5 pm CST) my wife was buying grocery and she spent 1 hr picking up products. After all the shopping she was refused at billing just because I could not be there with her. They could have let us know that next time she cannot shop without the member. She spoke to manager and supervisor, they did not listen for a minute and were very firm. This is so ridiculous, given that I am hearing this for the first time, We could have received a FYI and not to shop without the member. However the un-customer service would not let us do that. I am not saying that this right, but they could have let her shop given that we are hearing this for the first time. In my household sometimes I go for shopping or my wife or daughter, given this absurd policy we cannot ever shop in costco. Being customer with Costco for 12 years, I am totally disappointed and frustrated with this kind of treatment.

Costco's Oak Brook, IL location provided wonderful quality service and results! Kathryn and Steven are truly distinctive in their caring, service excellence and tailoring to a customer's needs. Very cost effective also. They have helped my dad, my mom and me in the last 5 years, and just last week I once again was in for help, and was delighted! Highly recommended!

To me this is one of the largest Costco's close to Chicago that I know of and frequent when I am near. I was shopping for a new OLED and decided to stop in. I had help from the employee to decide and he helped me load the flat bed and gave me all the paperwork I need to support the TV in case of defects. Once outside at my car they even helped me load the car up and the customer service here was impressive. I did not even have to ask and they offered. You can't go wrong with any TV here and it comes with 5yr warranty $99 value included in the price. (no brainer). The parking lot is huge which can be intimating but well worth the walk into the store.

Complete ZOO - almost anytime throughout the year, especially between October thru December.Parking Lot - ZOO (seems to only be a one light/one area in and out of the place, too). Store - ZOO. Find another Costco to go to, if you are able unless you enjoy shopping with enormous crowds.

Amazing customer service!!!I was at this location on Friday and bought a whole bunch of things ... one of the items was Burt's bees chapsticks pack. When I got home to chicago realized it was missing. Immediately I called Costco and was connected to Nikki in customer service, she said bring your Receipt and we will get you a new one. I of course didn't believe it would be so straightforward. Sure enough Monday morning I walked in. And Chris at customer service said he can help and he opened a book and saw a note from Nikki . It was easy because of how organized they run the store. Thanks for helping me out!

This is my local Costco & after having gone more times than I care to admit, it's time for a review. Returns? Expect a line. But if you know, you know - Costco has a stellar return policy. Other lines? They look worse than they actually are. (To clarify, I don't also shop weekends.)I've seen the age old question, "Does a single person need a Costco membership?" Yes, yes you do. I HATE running out of anything. Even for toiletries & cleaning supplies, you can expect to save quite a bit - just prepare to play Tetris with storing some of the items. They have delicious frozen items - burgers, veggies, shrimp, etc. I'll also buy my coffee here. Other items such as gummy vitamins, windshield wipers, Pyrex food storage - it's all here. The value of a membership cannot be understated. I've stopped buying burgers out because their options are amazing. Bread / bagels / buns? Split the bag in half & shove the rest in the freezer. I have also ordered a noise cancelling headset online & was able to get a price adjustment easily. Oh & snacks... do not forget the snacks. The icing on the cake is self-check out & grabbing a slice of pizza on the way out. Do yourself a favor & shop here. They'll even let you return the membership if you're unsatisfied. Also very accommodating to our service dog

Costco is a terrific shopping place, most of the times. have seen spoiled produce there that had not been culled, and most recently got some smelly halibut. I will continue to attempt to buy fish there, but the butcher will be asked to open the plastic wrapped package to check for freshness.

Love the bulk options and the free samples. Could almost get a whole meal out of how many they set up! Always packed no matter when I go though.

This place has the absolute worst traffic flow of any Costco I've ever been to. It was clearly built to adapt to the space vs the space to adapt to the store. Gas prices are always a bit higher however because it's in a higher end area they tend to get higher end one-off luxury products like Patagonia, etc. Standard costco, remember to pack your patience before making a journey!
