For the price, the food was good but the selection was just okay, the service was pretty good. Our table was extremely flimsy and wobbled every time we moved, flowers were being handed out but none were given to us. We spent $500 for this experience and I wouldn't pay more than $50 a person at most to match the quality.
This place was a pleasant surprise. I found myself in Oakbrook one late evening, looking for a place to have a nightcap. I heard the bar inside the Drake (Polo Lounge) is a classy spot, and the intel was correct. It's not very big, but they have a legit whiskey selection, good service and a decent number of TVs (so if you stop in for a sporting event, pull up to the bar and you'll be fine.) My family and I had a wonderful time. The food was great the ambience was very elegant and lived up to the value of the cost. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating but one in particular was extremely pleasant and went above and beyond.
