We loved the decor of this restaurant. The heated terrace was very nice and comfortable. Our service was excellent. The food was very good but we think it was overpriced. Probably would not go here again for Greek food.

I've wanted to check out this place for a while and finally did. I went with a group of 5 people for dinner. The itself place is beautiful. It's got a great ambiance as well. The food was good. I will say that the food is very overpriced. I can get similar or better food for a much lower price.Jacob was our waiter and he was wonderful. He was attentive and so kind.

Great service, great food! Jacob was outstanding, exceptionally nice and knowledgeable. Meatballs, salmon, branzino all were amazing.

What an amazing experience. As always, the food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Eric, the restaurant manager, took extremely good care of us. Not only was Eric, polite and charming, he went out of his way to make sure that our dining experience was impeccable. I highly recommend Violi thank you.

The food was over expected. Came here for Birthday dinner specially to get the octopus. Octopus was over grilled and had bitter taste. The plus was that lady (probably manager) asked how was it, and after my review removed it from our check and asked if we want to replace it. Another thing - every time when our waiter asked how's everything I wasn't even able to answer, as he was leaving immediately. Why you ask if not interested in answer??‍♀️. The waiter also never refilled our wine glasses from the bottle we ordered. You expect this from high rated restaurants. The top thing - I had Birthday this day and I mentioned this while made reservation. I was patiently waiting for at least something like cake. Nothing. And at the same time I saw birthday cakes and fireworks on almost each table. Never get back

If you're in Oakbrook area or looking to visit a fun and vibrant place in the suburbs, this place has the vibe! The ambiance is absolutely beautiful, great service, delicious cocktails and atmosphere! The place is lit on Friday and Saturdays after 9 or 10 pm. The food we thought was mediocre for the high prices! If you're visiting with friends or want to celebrate a special occasion, this is the place to go to.Parking: Plenty of free parking in the Oakbrook mall.

Did a reservation one week before ,after coming to the restaurant I waited 10 min to be seated; Without finishing the food I was told to leave because the hostess needed the table. Worse service ever, will not come ever

We ate at this “new Greek Restaurant in Oak Brook” called VIOLA. The place was packed and it looked like all the decor was fake, like plastic plants and flowers. The food was average, but this Greek restaurant in Oak Brook was waaaaaay overpriced! Portions were really small, like one piece of grilled octopus, pulpo for $28! A half Greek chicken, was $36 with nothing else on the plate. No wonder why people are complaining about the economy when you have a “high end sit-down restaurant near Lombard” over charging at least double.Four small scallops for $48, Four small lamb chops for $51 and lobster linguine with only 1/2 of a small Rock Lobster. Ugh!

I took my mother here for her birthday because she wanted to see what opened in the Mon Ami Gabi location. A beautiful space but the hostess gave the restaurant a horrible first impression of expected service, she didn't wait for us to sit or hand us menus just pointed at the table and put them down before flipping her hair and walking away. Luckily our server was great but it was so loud they had trouble hearing us. Food was hit or miss. Octopus was a little rubbery and overcooked, lamb chops were tough for medium rare, but oysters were fresh, deconstructed pastitsio was delicious, and so were the potatoes and Brussels sprouts. Feta stuffed olives in the olive oil martini was a nice touch. The bougasta dessert was really good, but surprised my mother with a sparkler to hold for her birthday and CHARGED EXTRA when we didn't ask for one. When I questioned the hidden charge they said the expense was factored into the dessert price. If so, I think $20 for the dessert is a bit excessive considering what we got and it is in the suburbs. Not sure I would go again since many other places with similar food and quality closer in Chicago, but if stuck in the burbs or hungry when shopping in the mall perhaps. Just remember to look at your bill closely.

Unfortunately, I have to say that the food was nothing special at all. The waiter messed up my order. And then I guess he dropped my credit card because they called me from the restaurant while I was there telling me they found my credit card. The prices are very high For Greek food but I guess it's the neighborhood.

Service was not great. Waiter tried an upsell on our wine choice. Lamb chops were basically ash when they came and the second time were completely fat. So we won't be going back. It's a shame because we liked it before.

We ate at Viola Restaurant in Oak Brook. It was unbeliveable. The service was great and the food was so good . Yana was our server. She was very good. After every coarse they gave us fresh utencils. Very nice inside, great atmosphere. I would be back soon and ask for Yana.

Service was not great. Especially, we had a birthday in our 4-top that was noted in our reservation and while everyone else around us had birthday dessert with sparklers we were completely ignored. It was so loud we could not understand one another, they need to get some noise absorption panels! Food was so-so and not worth the $600 price tag for 4 people.
