This was my first time coming here. The food definitely did not disappointment. The chicken, rice and beans and macaroni and cheese was perfect! My husband tried to order wings and we were told they did not have any. That was kind of odd. I do feel however the customer service could b better. The person that waited on us seemed like he wanted to be anything but there. Will definitely be back again for the food.

Worse food in my entire life. I ordered the jerk catfish dinner with green beans macaroni and yams. The green beans taste like it was sitting in the can for years I don’t even think they drained the juice off or even cooked them. They were the green color before they are cooked no seasoning not even a pinch of salt the macaroni was soggy with a sprinkle of melted cheese on top taste like wet noodles the yams we’re horrible and last but not least the jerk catfish taste like they went in someone’s home aquarium and got the fish it taste like swamp water pond water it was just out right disgusting nothing was edible I threw everything in the garbage after tasting the food even though I could just look at everything and tell that it was horrible food it was disgusting and they had nerve to charge the expensive price I spent about $29 on that meal I will never eat there again I would suggest no one else and the one’s that do eat they must don’t know what good or edible food is and it wasn’t anything cooking you couldn’t even smell any food being cooked just a microwave going off I should have known better but I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt

I called and placed an order today and I made it very clear I wanted my wings well done & I state this every time I go. When I got my wings they were so loose I was disgusted I took them back and the lil boy behind the counter says there is nothing he can do… which doesn’t make any kind of sense and I ask for a refund … this situation makes me not even want to return and I have been a customer since they were located by Portillo’s
I been going to this place when they first open in calumet city. When they closed and I seen a sign on 95th I was excited I was there when they opened it religiously and I’m 47 mins from there but I like what I like but this is the third incident and I don’t care how much I like it the service declined tremendously. I place I online order for a whole dark and had to wait 30 mins just to be told I had to take my order mix not dark when that’s not what I asked for and waisted 30 mins and still have to drive over 40 mins back home is not ok the lady there will cause so much money lost I’ll be back when she is gone or trained because that’s not ok I supported this business so much to get this rude service , the owner from what we encounter is nice but that lady in there makes me not want to come back at all giving them a huge break the lady response was give money back it’s sad
