Fantastic! I tried the empanadas, quesadillas, tacos al pastor and quesabirria. Each dish was great and the plating was elegant. The ingredients are fresh and the atmosphere was very nice. I actually think it can compete with anything in the city.

My wife and I stumbled upon Maiz & Barro while scrolling yelp for a new place to try for dinner. It was the first place to pop up and we were both surprised that we've never heard of it being so close to home. I'm so glad we stopped in! I had 3 tacos (steak, shrimp & al pastor) all of them were great but my favorite was the steak! The tortillas were home made, the tacos gave a gourmet vibe. My wife had the mole chicken enchiladas. Mole was homemade and the flavor was fantastic. I'm glad we found this place. Friendly service, we will definitely be back!
