“I've been to this location several times. Quick and friendly service. I like it when they bring in flavors that are only in for a limited time because they taste good. “We brought a picture of a mountain-themed cake to Anna for her to draw inspiration from for our son & daughter-in-law's wedding reception cake. It was absolutely beautiful and tasted even better! She also made varieties of desserts for the large dessert table. She is very easy to work with and we would strongly recommend her bakery to our friends and family. We will definitely being using this bakery again!“
“Hello to anyone that's about to read this review please understand that I am a huge fan of this establishment I absolutely feel like I'm family whenever I visit for starters I'm greeted as soon as I walk in the front door by the whole entire staff I have never caught anyone having a bad day and if so they don't direct it towards their customers I never have to wait very long for my order and the staff engages in conversation with you while you wait for your order and let's just get to what I like to order when I'm there I always get the lox and bagel but I have to ask them to take the cream cheese off because I am lactose intolerant so I can't have any dairy but after I place my order for a open face lox & bagel and I always get an apple juice nine times out of 10 when I get back to my vehicle I've already eaten the first piece of my sandwich it's just that good and I'm upset when I get home and by that time I've eaten the other half so it's just something that you have to try yourself does smoke salmon the raw onions the capers just really makes my palate happy as soon as I open up the bag the Aromas is what do it for me and The Taste it's so amazing while I'm writing this review actually I'm in the mood for one right now so make sure you get it yourself over to Great American bagel and enjoy“
“I made an online pickup order today & the food was ready very close to the pickup time it stated on the app . Food was still warm when I got home, everything was so delicious . My family & I are feeling sick this week & the soup definitely helped along with their papaya green tea, soothing on the throat even when it’s cold . The portion sizes could be a bit larger for the price .. however if you have the money to spend on Panera, it’s pretty worth it . I don’t eat here often just because it’s a bit pricey for the portions you get . But the food is good . For reference I had ordered the pick two - Mac n cheese (small) & half chipotle chicken avocado melt, a bowl of broccoli & cheddar soup, the papaya green tea, and a full chipotle chicken avocado melt . My total was just under $40 . I’m sure there are other places you could get more food than that for $40 however you’re essentially paying for the quality here, not the quantity . Employees were very nice & helpful . Although the ladies by the pickup counter weren’t alerting anyone that their order was ready .. they had the receipts on the bags facing away from customers & they were too far back for anyone to reach to turn them around & check the names . My food was ready & right in front of me & didn’t get it until I asked if it was ready .. just constructive criticism, maybe call out the names as the orders come out ? Just to avoid customers waiting when their order is sitting there . That’s the only issue I encountered .“
“Corner Bakery is our tie breaker when we can not agree on where to order in from. The menu has great choices.I like all the sandwiches including turkey avocado and chicken panini. They are very tasty without too much of anything to overpower the other flavors. My permanent roommate, likes the soup and sandwich combo. . She always gets the chicken ocra soup and varies the second item. This week she had the mac and cheese and thought it was very good. Portion sizes work nicely for us, not too much, not too little.The Oak Lawn store is obviously well run. Its always clean and food ready at the scheduled time.“
“Absolute best donuts in the world! This place is just so awesome. I've been coming here for years, and the donuts are always great. The Buttermilk cake donut is my favorite, just perfect. This place is OldSkool, just like me. Luv ❤️ everything about this place, please dont ever change anything. I luv the old skool menu, the old skool stools, I luv the old skool vibe, and It is not uncommon to see the founder Burritt in the window still making donuts at 85 young years old, God bless him and God give me the same strengths at his age. “Panaderia paradise is what this place is. If I weren't so happy with them, I would be angry that they've set the bar for panaderías so high that now I would pass on ones that are closer to me just to make the trip here. For me this really is worth going out of my way for. My go to has been rebanada de mantequilla, buñuelos and of course churros, exceptionally good churros. How good? Well, I had one cold the next day and it was still crispy and delicious, so I can only imagine how good it would be to get this fresh at the bakery, or if I were less lazy and gluttonous and heated it back up in the oven myself. The place itself is very clean and everyone working there was quite friendly and polite. Not surprisingly it gets a little bit busy in this small place, but it is worth it to sample the dizzying array of baked goods here. Fantastic panaderia and I am both happy and sad they are not right next door to me, because if they were, I would be here all the time.“
“Honestly can’t say enough good things about Kristoffers. They made my wedding cake and I only get their tres leches for my birthday every year. It’s so so soft and delicious with the perfect amount of sweetness in each bite. I really like the coconut tres leches but my personal favorite is just the regular one. Really enjoy the Chocoflan, regular flan, house salad, and their pastries are always fresh! But if you’re in the area you MUST stop by for a sliceAlso highly highly recommend their lemonade, my mouth is watering just thinking of it right now. “I don’t normally post reviews but I had to take the time to recognize this bakery. They did cake pops, cupcakes and cookies for my daughter-in-law’s baby shower and they were the rave of the party. People generally comment on food after a party but rarely desserts, at least in my circle but got tons of compliments. Will definitely not hesitate to make this my first choice for desserts/dessert table moving forward. Their selection is beyond the scope of what you find in a Southside bakery. And their attention to detail is top notch!“
