We tried La Cocina de Mama and we will definitely return. The food was exceptional- so fresh, plentiful, and delicious! The service was very pleasant and attentive. We weren't seated right away, but didn't realize to step further in, so not to be confused with the take-out customers. Maybe a sign would be helpful.

First time here with the family! Food was very delicious! We had the chilaquiles verdes with skirt steak. The coffee was also very tasty, with a hint of cinnamon! The service was very friendly and fast. Definitely plan to come back!

It's a home away from home, and everything is made with love❤️ One of my favies on their lunch specials is the Hawaiian Tostadas! Sautéed shrimp, with a mango habenero pico( cilantro, onion, mango) with an aioli!! ? Yuuum!!Vegetarian options: They have chiles rellenos, " "tacos, rice and beans( homemade). Avocado, veggies! Definitely the best Mexican restaurant I tried in the Midwest. The whole experience is unbelievable between service, food, beverages and consistency on every day. The carne asada is juicy, tasty and tender and the guacamole is impeccable.As Chef I’m recommending this restaurant to everyone.
