Horrible customer service, they charged like $6 for this milkshake and THIS is how they gave it to me. Severely overpriced and all for half a cup of milkshake?

Very poor service and food service was rushed. My husbands first time going to Smashburger and bought him and I two burgers and smashburger fries and me sweet potato fries. When he arrived to my job, he pulled out a quarter filled container of sweet potato fries, my classic burger, and his fries. His bacon burger was not in the bag, so he said "Well at least I got fries." Told me to taste one, and I thought they were greasy and passed. He ate his fries and then got disgusted with a puddle of grease and old burnt pieces he seen at the bottom of the container.We called that same night and spoke to a gentleman that was very apologetic and said for use to call the next day and they would help us. The next day my husband went there to get his refund and the young lady at the register was so rude to my husband and told him there isn't a manager there and she don't know when they'll be back. She was high and had a slurred response, but still managed to be rude as heck. I called there an hour later and a girl got on the phone and she was very rude to me and said that the manager still isn't there and she doesn't know when she'll be back. I'm not sure if this was the same woman.Called back the third day and spoke to a day shift manager and she seemed more helpful, but told me to call back after 5pm to now speak to the general manager. Called back at 6pm to speak to Jessica, the GM, and she wouldn't let me explain the issue and cut me off to offer me the same order. Mind you my husband was sick after eating those greasy fries. Ummm no! We never want to eat at Smashburgers ever again. Just give us our $35 refund for the garbage food and service you have given us.Soooooo, now Jessica the GM is telling us to call back tomorrow, 4th day, so she can ask her district manager if they could refund us.This experience has been exhausting and a waste of time, but these corporations are not going to charge me $35 for garbage service and food. Show accountability for your staff and food. $35 is a lot of money for two burger and fries just to get a container of old grease and one burger.Do better!And they are not allowing to post pics on this review!
Service was great. The employees were super helpful and informative on the wait. The burger on the other hand was bland. Meat wasn't seasoned. The veggies had no flavor which indicates they were old or sitting out. All.of that on a burger and it taste like nothing. I'd heard so many great things about this burger chain. Maybe it was prepandemic. Food cost more but the quality is way down

Lafron was very nice and resolved my concerns. Daysia was very rude and argumentative over her mistakes. Horrible experience. First, she spelled my name incorrectly possibly thinking it was humorous. Then she forgot my shake. I went back to get the shake and it was never made. I requested nondairy without whip cream. She added whip cream and I stopped her as she was making it. She got mad. How? She remade it and added a lot of water and it dark like a chocolate shake. At first I was going to take it but then I said why should I? I went to her calmly and said I don’t want to be a problem but is this chocolate. “Nope”. Ok well is dark and watery. “I added water”. I asked for a refund. The young lady asked her why and she proceeded to lie and said I want a refund because I thought it was Oreo. No! Be honest. She was rude and continued to mumble. The other young lady came out apologetic and addressing my concerns. I appreciate that. Daysia needs training! It was very ignorant.

Came in at 5:45 on a Monday to an empty restaurant and was told they aren’t accepting orders? Asked why and was told because they have too many orders.. There was no one there. Lazy people… 2024 baby, no one will lift a finger unless they absolutely have to! Idiots.

There were two people working at this location, the cook who also was a waiter and a young lady, working the cash register, clearing tables, making milkshakes and also bringing foods to tables. They both had good spirits but it looked overwhelming, especially as more people came. I wish I had brought cash so I could outright show them my appreciation.

Smashburger in Oak Lawn is excellent. I knew the xperience was going to be great with how Lashaun greeted us. She was pleasant and demonstrated a desire to satisfy her customer. Lashaun took ownership making sure the food and shakes were done properly. Smashburger in Oak Lawn has the ideal combination of good food and warm service.
