Addis is a great neighborhood cafe. It's a popular spot so it can be hard to find a seat at times. Not a big food menu, but all the food they make is delicious, espresso drinks are always well made. The waffles were so delicious and perfect: crispy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside, served with real maple syrup. The staff is so kind and really works hard to enhance your dining experience. The coffee is delicious and made with love. Can't wait for them to do dinner!

Nice local Black-owned cafe. The coffee options are very good but I don’t drink coffee any more and they have some options for tea but limited. If it’s a cold day or you want a light breakfast on the go you should get the Atmit.

Just go here. The service, ambiance, food and drink is amazing. I live on the south side of the city and will drive here to get my daily fixings of deliciousness.

If you haven't tried the ginger turmeric tea at Addis Cafe, drop everything an get over here. It's spicy and sweet and warms yours cheeks on a cold day. Plus she's always playing the best music - Ethiopian jazz, Malian kora, and so much more. Oh, and the cherry corn meal scones are delightful.

Addis’ coffee is soooo good. I enjoy all of their standard lattes (turmeric, honey vanilla, salted caramel, etc.). It’s like a little treat to myself. Just sweet enough so you are able to taste the flavor of the actual coffee. Will definitely keep coming back!

Addis is a great neighborhood cafe. It’s a popular spot so it can be hard to find a seat at times. Not a big food menu, but all food they do make is delicious, espresso drinks are always well made. The scone with berry compote and dirty chai are some of my favorites.

My quick go-to is normally Starbucks but I wanted to try something new so I stopped here while waiting for my kids in Sunday school down the street and wow was I impressed with their coffee! I tried the salted caramel latte and it was so good!! Shop is very small and menu is a little hard to look at (very high up and tight space at counter) but it is definitely worth getting a coffee from. Came back another time and also tried the scone with berry compote and that was very good as well. Definitely plan on stopping in for a coffee every time I'm in the neighborhood.

Nice interior and employees were nice but two lattes and a bagel took 30+ minutes, which is ridiculous. The two lattes tasted like watered down coffee, read the bad reviews before you try this

My husband and I came to spend some time outside of the house to read. Addi's won the choice of cafè for this morning. He ordered a egg sandwich and said it was delicious, no bad review there. I ordered an affagato but it did come out just after his sandwich (he ordered 5 minutes before I did) so it was about a 15-20 minute wait. The plus side was they did bring the food and beverage directly to the table. Affagato - the coffee tasted more on the acidic side but the ice cream balanced that. The space is compact. We probably felt that more because we came at a busy time (before 10am on a tuesday. The space opened up more around 11). The tables are very small but each has a cute little accent succulent, making the atmosphere more welcoming. There is a larger table and a couch as well as some games toward the back of the Café-these add to the warmth and welcoming atmosphere but we were at a smaller table until the couch opened up. The space has a lot of natural sunlight and there is a green accent wall as well as green plants - these help to brighten the space. While we were there, piano music was playing in the background- perfect for reading and studying! Not too distracting. Several people were able to be working on thier computers and no complaints regarding the wifi. The bathroom was fairly clean but the toilet didn't flush all the way despite flushing twice. The lotion in the bathroom needed to be replaced but the fact that they cared about providing lotion for customers to use after washing hands, that thought was a good touch, especially because winter is very drying.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is street level and has no stairs. The door would need to be opened by another person. The space is pretty narrow inside so it may be difficult to menuver a wheelchair here on a busy day, however, the staff is very attentive and would move tables/chairs to accommodate someone in a wheelchair (if the table is empty)
