Dined here with some family members. One of them ordered the verde wrap and got FOOD POSIONING later that night. Food was super low quality, my crepes were undercooked mush, and the Chilaquiles appeared like mushy formless chips with pale green sauce that im certain comes from a can. Not to mention the price for the food is outrageous when considering the quality. Brought the issues up after the meal and the manager was reluctant to even give a partial refund on the chilaquilles that were unable to be eaten more than 1 bite from how low quality and poorly made they were.I would AVOID eating here. The food is LOW quality and even worse, gives FOOD poisoning, with the prices on averaging being 15$ per item, which for the food quality is robbery.

Today I had a bizar encounter at this restaurant. I ordered a vegan burger. The waiter shared with me that it comes with a complimentary soup. I asked whether the soup also was vegan. The answer was that "it is almost vegan, but has a little bit of chicken stock." I replied that "being vegan does not stop at the main course". I have been to this diner dozens of times, and know that they routinely substitute sides with a small bowl of fruit. The waiter refused to do it.So did the owner, who told me that if he allowed me to substitute, he would have to allow everebody else to do so. My plea that as I was paying for a vegan main course this should not be acompanied by a complimentary nonvegeterian starter rang for dead ears.In short, one would not expect a pork starter, if one ordered a kosher main dish. Neither does one expect a meat based starter, when one orders a vegan main dish.I would have expected more sensitivity from this small shop. I certainly expect a change in company's policy that gives vegans the same amount of product for equal pay.

Service was great but coffee was horrible, the pancakes were undercooked and the cream that goes on top of cinnamon swirl pancakes tasted rancid. Wife had red velvet french toast and it tasted like straight up freezer. I’ve returned to the oak park location a handful of times but this was the last straw for me. The place seems to have a fruit bug problem that doesn’t let you eat comfortably since they are always landing on your food.

I really do enjoy eating here. I tend to go during the week when it’s quiet. It does get very busy on the weekends. The staff here is friendly and welcoming. Give the biscuits and gravy a try, you won’t be dissatisfied.

I stopped by this place cause I just moved to the area. I ordered a turkey sandwich which is difficult to screw up. I received a mushy sandwich and it was dry even though I asked for heavy mayonnaise. I received a tiny amount of crinkle cut French fries which weee barely enough to feed a bird! Apparently there's a run on potatoes at $15 for a sandwich. The lentil soup was awful and bland and tasted like dish soap. The manager is delusional in thinking that his food is good. I'll never ever dine here again and unfortunately I cannot recommend eating here. I ended up taking my food to go and gave it to a homeless person. My waitress who was also the hostess was very personable and friendly but the food wasn't very pleasant so if you are considering dining here let me provide you with some advice. Run! Run like your the last two monkeys boarding Noah's Ark and it's starting to rain!!! Run! Do not pass go! Do not collect $200!!! No! You've been warned folks! Enter at your own peril! Garbage food!
