Very disappointed with the service. The waitress K.J never came over to check to see if everything were ok.. It wasn’t even busy. The only time she came by the table was when she were called over, but only came on her on to bring the check. Then before we got halfway to the register, she yelling cash or credit? What service. But Kudos to the other waitress that asked what we needed and she got it.

A friend had a taste for Denny's. We went. I hadn't been to one in years if not decades. I had food from the lunch menu. It was good. The value and quality was in alignment with the price. Service was a little off. Our original waitress left but didn't say anything to us. It was weird as we tipped a person that really did not do anything except provide the bill. I would imagine it is weird to end your shift while customers you served are still eating. I wished she would have said something as we could have ripped her before she left. Why do I worry about stuff like that - I appreciate ppl. Nevertheless, although Denny's wasn't on my list of places to go, I enjoyed it. Hopefully another decade won't pass before I go back. Thumbs up for Denny's Oak Park.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!Visited this location the other night at about 9:30pm. There is a heavy set African American waitress who is nasty on several levels and obviously needs sanitation training. She presents herself poorly, clothing looked unclean. Her hands were visibly dirty, nails had something black underneath them. I noticed when she attempted to adjust my son’s double cheese burger which had fallen over as she brought it out to our table. Instead of taking it back to the kitchen to have it fixed properly she stood over my son and attempted to fix it with her bare hands. When I complained to the manager on staff who was a Hispanic mid aged woman, she claimed to not speak good English and told me to speak with the same nasty waitress whom we initially had the bad experience with.There’s a better location a on 95th that’s where we ended up.
