Flourish is a new social space located in the downtown Oak Park. I came here with friends over the weekend for the Jazz Event. Nice and relax crowd. Street parking along the streets or you can park over by the garage free for the first hour. A tasting room with a pour your own beer/wine. You have to put a credit card on file to start your tap. You are giving a card where you place the card into the slot and beginning pouring your drink. Different fun concept of self pouring your own drinks. Free soda and mixers station. Free pool table. The staff could be a little more prepared and professional. I'm pretty sure opening a new business is a little difficult. You have to work out a few things. But when one of your staff members is rude and walks around with an attitude will not bring on good business. When I first arrived there was a nice crowd but as the night went on. The place started to thicken. It was kind of hard to walk through. People were standing along the walls. There were only a few tables along the walls to sit. I ordered a side of guacamole and chips. It took 30 minutes for it to come to the table. Nice chill laid back vibe. I enjoyed the atmosphere and music. But I didn't quite enjoy the service on that night. Unprofessional and under staff.

Neat place with a sexy vibe. The space itself is refined and urban. Food is small plates or charcuterie which I love. When you go in you open a tab and get a pour card. That enables you to access taps where you can pour your own wine, beer, liquor, or kombucha. Desserts are gorgeous. Very reasonably priced.

Fun space with a beverage option for everyone, all along a convenient serve yourself system that keeps tab as you go. The beverages include spirits, beers and wines, with simple mixers. The small plates and deserts complement the beverages. Then adding to the ambience is low lighting, nice art and nice music. Here for the Jazz Thaw, with live music only adding to the full service.

Such a cool spot where you can try out different beers and wines. If you're lucky you'll even catch a live band

Convinced my GF to leave her super comfortable apartment and check out this spot, which we'd seen while driving to nearby Trader Joe's not long ago. Boy was she glad we did. The concept is simple but the execution is not. There's an excellent array of libations on tap, and you're always shown how much that pour cost and how much you've spent so far. You can do single pours, our created a blended treat such as the "creamsicle". The staff was really helpful and outgoing, and the service was quick. We had some charcuterie to accompany our drinks, and recommend you don't skip that on your visit. Overall an excellent experience and we're going to be regulars for sure.

The concept at flourish is interesting and I've never seen anything like it. That said, our experience wasn't great and they need to iron out a lot of kinks. I was excited to see my favorite sparkling rosé on tap, but it was completely flat. My husband chose whiskey, but the only ice available was crushed ice and it watered his drink down. The atmosphere and seating were not cohesive. there were huge distracting TVs everywhere giving it a sports bar feel, but plush seating in the front giving it a lounge feel. The lighting was WAY too bright fluorescent lighting that gave the whole place a cafeteria or grocery store feel. After doing all the work of pouring our own cocktails, there was a 20% tip option we had to decline at the end. Who am I tipping? Shouldn't I be tipping myself for pouring all my own drinks? Bummed that we won't have a cool late night spot in Oak Park to go to, butI don't think we'll be visiting again.

They had no record of our reservation when we got there. We were ushered to a table and told "well, here is your table" and the manager/owner/someone apparently annoyed with the fact that 7 of us were going to spend a few hundred bucks there just walked away. No one came back to check on us. No one cleans off your plates or takes your glasses. The "pay as you go" method makes you walk around and pour your own drinks. Interesting if you equate "hospitality" like going to your fridge to get a drink yourself. I had to dress up for this? And then they want you to tip them. They should have tipped us for visiting there. Won't go back. The hostess was very nice though.

pouring your own beer is great, the prices are reasonable. I'm not 100% sure how you order food, but one time they just handed me free food and it was great.

This is a great pour your own beer bar. There beers are different every time you visit and it's a very relaxed place to be at.

Nice concept! Self serve drinks....wine, beer, hard liquor. However, the food menu didn't appeal to me. Great people very friendly staff!! Had a great time. I will return!!

What a fun spot! My husband and I decided to treat ourselves to some drinks and bites after the gym so we decided to finally check out Flourish! I'd been eyeing it since they opened because their website made it look so cool. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a super sweet girl (I can't remember if we got her name) who explained the whole concept to us. They scan your IDs and a credit card and then hand you a card that you will use to charge your drinks. This is cool because it gives you the opportunity to taste different types and then decide which you'd like to drink full time. They have clean glasses right below the taps so that you can switch out as you go. We had a lot of fun trying the different options before finally choosing one and then placing an order for some cheese and olives. Overall, everything was so good! The vibe was fun and they have a pool table in the back that was kinda being hogged by someone else all night lol but it was fine we'll definitely be back for a beer and some pool on a less busy night. Can't wait to bring some friends with too!

We love Flourish! The self-serve concept is a cool format and has a very laid back vibe. We got lucky and snagged a parking spot right out front but there is a garage near by and plenty of street parking. The decor in here is gorgeous. It is clean and has an open concept feel. Fun fact, this is the only spot in Oak Park with a pool table! They also have local artists' art on their walls and large TVs to view games. More on the self-serve concept: After you show your ID and provide a credit card, you get a Flourish card which you use to purchase whatever drink you want. The great thing about this is you can pour an ounce of the 45 (++) beverages they have and try everything if you want! They have a mix of craft beer to wine and liquor. Next to the liquor they have a mini mixer station which you can pretend you're a bar tender at. They have a good selection of fresh ingredients to add as well. If you're hungry, I suggest you try the charcuterie boards and artisanal cheeses. They have a nice variety of seasonal cuts and make a flavorful spread. We came on a Tuesday night with a few friends and were welcomed extra kindly by both of their associates at the front. They constantly asked if they could help us find something we were in the mood for or anything they could do to help. We explored many beers on tap but my favorite was the porter. I love that you can control the pour and how easy the machine is to use. Chris, the GM was also here and he's always so warm and easy to talk to. You get a family type of welcoming here. We could stay for hours and we'll be back soon! :)
