Hecho is small and feels a little like a hole in the wall, but the food is excellent. We started with chips, salsa and guacamole. The red salsa was zippy but not too hot. Guacamole was excellent. I was happy with the number of vegetarian Taco options that were available. I had the Napolitos and the Jamaica. The former was good, the ladder was amazing. Contained marinated and sautéed hibiscus, pineapple and black bean parade. The flavors married together really well. The cocktail options were excellent as well. I had the Hatch of margarita. I would've drank. It is good, not great. My niece had the cucumber margarita which was amazing. That was a perfect combination of cool and tart. Great restaurant for a quick bite to eat and creative food.

Queso Fundido is very good; different than other's with the Chorizo finely chopped and less of it. Served with tortilla and chips. Our waitress was very attentive even though place was packed. Good vibe amongst all customers.

This is a tiny little place with tight seating arrangement. But the food... The food is really good. I tried three different tacos and was happily surprised that each one just kept getting better and better. If you're in the area and in the mood for some special tacos, I would definitely give this place a try. The fish tacos are enormous! Great breading and the slaw is just right. Very different, and very good. The space is eclectic and fun. Even when it's busy the food is fast and friendly.

This place has been highly recommended by friends for years. Why we waited until now to finally try it, I have no idea. The food was amazing! We were kept saying I can't believe we're just not trying this place. We had the chilaquiles and the huevos con poblano. Legit. Both. We'll definitely be back soon. Would like to try their dinner options. I will mention that the portions looked a little on the small side, however they ended up being the perfect size as we both left feeling very satisfied.

The food is disgusting. Never had Mexican food that was not good. This food is not worth your time. I ordered an order of bean serving size is 3/4 cup size. Just dissaponting.My recommendation is go eat some place else. A big yuck

This trendy Mexican restaurant has great margaritas and awesome tacos. Definitely try the elotes (corn rolled in mayo, cheese, chili powder). Great chips & salsa, queso fundido is pretty good. Staff are nice but the dining room is small and can get packed, so it may take a while for food to come out. The interior is colorful and vibrant, it's just a shame they don't have more seating! I'd highly recommend Hecho en Oak Park.
