I enjoyed Vicolo Trattoria, the service was good, the ambiance was your basic Italian restaurant. They have a bar seating area and more tables in the back. They also have a large patio for seating outside in the summer that I can't wait to come back for. The food was great overall: we had the grilled calamari to start. It was just okay for me - I have had more flavorful grilled calamari before, but others may think the grilled calamari is great so it's really just personally preference. Entree: we had the lobster ravioli which was really tasty served in red sauce. Also tried the wrapped beef that my husband really liked. He asked for medium but it was probably prepared medium well - there wasn't much pink in it. Drinks: I am a margarita fan - tried the spicy pineapple margarita and it did not disappoint. It didn't taste too sweet and had the right amount of spice. Also tried the Mandarin dreamsicle - on the sweeter side and filling.

Lots of variety. Plenty of additional options from what is shown on the menu. Very quiet & clean. The service was amazing. All of the staff were super attentive and they made sure to check on us often. Their calamari was so good. For my entree I went with the gnocchi. I will for sure be back again

The food was hot and good. Before you book reservations, ask if there is a time limit on the table. We booked a 5:00 pm dinner on a Friday to beat the Christmas holiday rush for family dinners and hopefully have a quiet dinner. We were seated promptly and off to a good start! The wait staff was on their game with water and moving dishes off our table of four in a corner under the air-condition blowing on and off over our heads! The waitress/management is the reason for the poor review. The waitress forgot requested condiments and half way through the meal, the waitress responded by blaming the wait staff. We were surprised at this response, but smiled and went on in hopes all would end well. The waitress then asked us to leave after our dessert and before even offered coffee or drinks. There were 3-4 tables open without a reserved sign on them and no waiting line at the front desk when we were told by the waitress she needed the table and wanted to keep things moving! I reported to management and they apologized, but did not offer us the bar or another table for four to finish our holiday visit with our out of town family! They missed further financial gain by asking us to leave. We did as requested and helped them keep things moving by leaving and checking them off our list to not return. One and done stop for this family. Too many good restaurants out there!!!
