With so many Chinese/Asian options, Katy's Dumplings- Oak Park can easily be missed. But don't! Don't miss out on good quality food with reasonable pricing and good portions. Our go to is definitely their General Taos Chicken. It manages to remain crispy and saucy at the same time! It has a perfect balance of sweetness and heat. Their noodle dishes are also amazing! Great flavor and so filling! Our son loves their noodles and their fried rice!

It's a beautiful restaurant with delicious food. Unfortunately the wait service was underwhelming. The servers were surly, unhappy, and acted like they were doing us a favor. Everything was brought on time but we felt like we were an inconvenience by being in the restaurant. No smiles, no thank you, no courtesy.

If you liked the food 6 years ago or you like the katy dumpling at westmont, be prepared for a nasty surprise. The food is entirely different, it now tastes very panda-express-caliber and the quality is now very bad. I ordered a 酸菜羊肉汤面（lamb sauerkaut noodle soup）and 牛肉炒饼 (beef stir fried pancake). The lamb was very thick and not tasty, the sauerkaut is sweet and cut into big chunks. The stir fry pancake has a lot of sauce (thus panda express like) and some pancake is really tough to chew.

Such delicious food and outstanding customer service! I submitted an online order for a work event and accidentally put in some of the wrong info. Even though it was totally my mistake, the staff at Katy's very generously helped me fix the issue and get the order in on time. They totally saved the day and our lunch went on without a hitch. We will certainly be coming back!!

Unfortunately I am not a big fan of this Chinese restaurant. I tend to order the same 3 dishes and the quality, meat ratio, and overall flavor have been lacking. I will still stop in time to time but it’s not my go to spot. I still think others may like it, it’s just not for me.Parking: Typical city street paid parking on a very busy street. I recommend taking the first spot available and taking a short walk to pick up the food. Chances of getting parking right in front of the store is minimal.

If you have ever eaten the beef noodle soup at the Westmont location, do not expect the same from here. From Westmont, you get lovely homemade noodles in a wonderful broth with lots of beef. From Oakpark you get a substandard broth with a small smattering of rice noodles and a few tiny pieces of beef. Will not order from this location again. Zero stars for the soup.
Have enjoyed in the past, but went for takeout the other night and both dishes were a flop. Hot and Sour soup was somehow neither hot nor sour. Three chili chicken was greasy, overly salty, and the fry oil was obviously old, making everything rancid. Hope it was just an off night.

5/5, great food, service and ambiance. We ordered the veggie noodle soup and the beef noodle soup as well as the shrimp and chives pot stickers. We also got Thai iced tea and lychee drink. Both were yummy!

The soup dumplings(juicy steamed buns) were my favorite. I loved them sooo much I took some frozen ones to go.
The food here tasted so fresh and delicious! We got our crab Rangoon appetizer after our dumplings, but service was great otherwise. We'll be back for sure!
