The ordering process is easy and seems to come out fast, although the staff are not overly engaging. We did not have any specialty drinks, but did have bottled beverages, so cannot speak to those. The bread was fresh and full of flavor as were the croissant, although they do not have as crispy of layers as some croissants. There is comfortable outside seating and nice inside seating to choose from. There is EV parking in a close by paid parking lot and is also a block off the Oak Park Metra and Harlem/Lake El Station.

What kind of self-respecting coffee shop *right next to the train station* doesn't open until 8am? Do you even know how to run a business? Or do you only cater to retirees.

I only had the croissant sandwich but it was very good. My friend did not like the soup but everything else was great! Nice atmosphere and great

I love this place. I've had one of the BEST sandwiches and pastries here. The downside is that sometimes they forget the order. The other day, I ordered two almond croissants and two sandwiches. I picked up the order and went home (I live 20 min away from this place), only to realize that they had forgotten my almond croissants. I called and asked for a refund as I live too far away to go back to pick them up. They said they would, but they have yet to refund me. Another time, they forgot to give me the salad I ordered instead of the chips. Again, I was already home, so I called again to notify and ask for a refund, but the same thing happened. I wish they paid more attention and gave me the complete order! Or a refund when they make a mistake.

Biking in the area, stopped afterwards for a sandwiche, no luck. Only had cash. ?Looked good tho.

In my opinion, some of the best coffee in Chicago. I still think about that coffee. Wish they had a better selection here but in general their sandwiches are wonderful, the croissants are delicious and overall it’s very tasty. Wished they stayed open later and had a bigger menu.
They don’t take cash. I drove a long way to try it only to be turned away because I didn’t have a card on me. Be aware!

The baguette egg sandwich was delicious. I had Le Croque Avocat* which was very tasty. We got a couple of pastries, a oatmilk latte, and a half and half. All were delicious and worth it. It’s on the pricer side and they don’t use reusable dishes or cutlery when dining in. Seems wasteful and probably more expensive in the long run. They have two kiosk where you can order your own food which is nice. Lot’s of seating area and bathrooms. Overall it was a good experience. Will definitely be back.Vegetarian options: They have a avocado something for most of the sandwiches.
