Really love the space. They are doing fantastic at Covid protocal.This is a great place to see what the community is truly about.I'm giving it 4 stars because I'm not a huge fan of the house brew and espresso brew coffee. But I love L!VE for what they stand for and will continue to support!!

I ordered a cortado and was told that they do not serve that drink (It's 1 part espresso to 1 part steamed milk). Bathrooms for employees only, and a $10 per hour fee to use the space. Other than that, the barista was very friendly and the espresso was tasty.

Untoasted bread, badly sliced tomato, unmelted cheese. This was not worth the money or time spent waiting for it. I want to support black owned business but I can get a better value at any drive thru. This is the second no third time my sandwich was extremely disappointing. I'd like a refund or a free better made sandwich. 2 sandwiches that is. Refund please. SMH

Today marks my first dining experience since you-know-what...and I’m so happy it was at LIVE Cafe! I enjoyed an iced latte and delicious squash & goat cheese quiche. And you can’t help but smile in those sunny yellow table & chairs!

I want to love this coffee shop, as we moved nearby and intended to be frequent customers. Every time we go (usually Saturday mornings), our order is wrong. If we order cold, we get hot. If we order iced tea, we get water and ice. If we ask for almond milk, we get half n half. We’ve brought several friends here, and their orders have all been slightly off as well. Service is slow, so it’s not usually worth asking for a correction. Sad to not be giving this place five stars, but I’m hoping they can fix some of the issues.

Seems like this place is not very well run behind the scenes. Every time I have been there, my order takes an extremely long time because it seems like there are never enough employees on staff. Also, the food always tastes old and never fresh. The employees have also not been wearing gloves the past few times I have been, which is frankly unsanitary. Definitely not worth the high price they are charging.

Very cool and welcoming Oak Park cafe! Stopped in for a coffee and a brownie. Felt very comfortable. Got street parking across the street. Really nice place with friendly service. I will definitely come back and I look forward to trying a few other menu items when I have a bit more time.

My book club regularly meets here. Its never super crowded and doesn't get noisy either. It has a huge selection of coffee and tea drinks, with small sandwich and pastry offerings. Not really a lunch spot, but good for studying/writing/coffee dates.
