Last Friday, my team and I had the pleasure of dining at Maya Del Sol, and I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible service we received. After a long day of meetings, we were looking forward to unwinding and enjoying some good food, and Maya Del Sol exceeded our expectations. We had a party of about 22 people, which can be quite challenging for any restaurant to handle, but the staff at Maya Del Sol handled it with grace and efficiency. Our server, Erin, deserves special recognition for her outstanding service. She was attentive, fast, and incredibly patient with our large group. It's not easy to cater to the needs of 22 people, but Erin did it flawlessly and with a smile on her face. I have no doubt that Erin went home exhausted after serving us, but her exceptional customer service truly made our dining experience unforgettable. Thank you, Erin and the rest of the Maya Del Sol team, for your hard work and dedication. We will definitely be back for more delicious food and fantastic service!

A very nice twist on traditional Mexican cuisine. My chile relleno was filled with queso and carrits wuth a rich sauce. My side of elote was equally rich. A bit pricier than I expected, but very good.

The wait staff treats you like family and the food is wonderful. Kid friendly or going on a date- both are welcome here. Plus they have 5 dollar valet parking! Wish I would have known before we parked about 3 blocks away and paid more for parking.Parking: They have valet parking but you can also find paid parking spots and a parking garage near by.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu is limited but it's for picky eaters! Pretty much quesadillas or tacos with fries. My kids enjoyed the tacos as the quesadillas has pepperjack and was a bit too much for them .

Love this restaurant! Food and drinks are always outstanding. Came last night with my husband. On Wednesdays all margaritas are half price. I had 2 and they were very strong. We ordered the queso fundido to start. It was so delicious with the shrimp, chorizo and poblanos. The corn tortillas that came with it were very good. For dinner, I got the adobe shrimp dish. It was spicy but very good. I really enjoyed the kale, rice, sweet potato puree salad that came with it. My husband got the chimmichurri steak with potatoes and that was delicious as well.Carlos R, our server, was very friendly, funny and attentive. All of the staff was wonderful. We will be back and can’t wait for patio season!

Second time I come here. This time we came to celebrate a birthday. We had such a great time. Always very welcoming and the place is full of energy. Shout out to Josh. Best customer service I've ever received, not to exaggerate. I worked in the food industry years back and I love going out to check out new restaurants. Truly a magnificent human being. Incredible food and service, so do yourself a favor and visit this restaurant! The staff were very friendly and struck the perfect balance of making sure we had enough food and drinks, but also giving us time and space to eat and talk. Everything was delicious, but the chicken enchiladas and the baja tacos were AMAZING. And their tortilla chips and salsa were perfectly simple, salted, and tasty. If I lived in the area, we would be frequenting this restaurant because it was so good. I highly recommend!
This place has 2 main areas for dining, a full sized bar inside and a large patio out back. There is plenty of space to accommodate a large number of guests. We arrived for brunch with 4 adults and 2 small children. Their children's menu has a coloring picture on the back and they supplied a 4 pack of crayons for the kiddos. Our server did a nice job and they brought out the kids food right away just like we had asked. We tried several different cocktails and we all agreed that we enjoyed those. The Bloody Marie was especially tasty and a good choice, as well as the prickly pear Bellini. As far as the food was concerned, I had the blackened fish tacos off the main menu and was very disappointed. Most good Mexican restaurants are known for their seafood dishes and this one used so much seasoning, you couldn't tell that you were even eating fish. I did like the taco toppings though, but for the price, they missed the mark on this dish. My son ordered the steak skillet from the brunch menu and I was surprised to see it come out looking more like a steak salad. Ok, if that's what you wanted, but not really a skillet dish. The table also saw a Huevos Rancheros and a breakfast burrito from the brunch menu. The breakfast burrito was well liked and I was told the Huevos Rancheros was good. I would be willing try this place again and see if I had better luck, but I would definitely try something different and just know that it's a little overpriced for what you are served. Or just go for the cocktails and the patio!

Everything about maya del sol is awesome the only downside is that is gotten too expensive. I get is oak park but since when did Mexican food become so expensive.

Love the ambiance and impressive service. The staff is incredible and they deserve a big fat raise. Overall love this place although my only thing which is personal, it's not very authentic tasting. I say this from a biased perspective, especially when knowing it's a fusion restaurant. However I wouldn't not come back.
