Munch is one of my favorite places to eat. It's truly the only restaurant of its kind, in my area! The food is freshly prepared everyday, and you can tell. Not to mention, the ambiance and staff are fun and lively. I recommend that you try this vegan/vegetarian restaurant.

Delicious food all around. I really like the rice burrito. The staff are extremely friendly and the facility is very clean. It’s a great place to have a healthy meal.Parking: Parking is located in a large pay parking lot beside the restaurant. There are a few street parking spots in front of the restaurant however, mid day they are usually taken.Kid-friendliness: Healthy food for children although the serving may be large. They also have a nice dessert selection and milk shakes the kids may love.

This is such a cute place. Perfect for lunch. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and accommodated. Plus, the food was delicious and healthy.I have celiac and not only did the menu label items that were GF but the staff verified about cross contamination.Would highly recommend if you are ever in Oak Park!

My husband and I wanted to eat healthy after a week of feasting. Munch offers plenty of options, but Nash made it easy to choose the mango curry. Warmed up right up on a cold, dark January night.

It was cold, dark January night and I was hungry. We stumbled into Munch and found the warmest welcome from Nash and team, along with a cozy curry that filled us right up. Will be back to try more dishes!

The food is always fresh. It just lacks salt and seasonings. The most flavorful food I’ve tried here is the vegan gyros, very delicious and filling!! Also the vegan lasagna is yummy. Always love their roasted potatoes and their cucumber corn tomato salad was good, but would be better prepared in a vinaigrette sauce or a red wine vinegar. We tried two wraps this time. Veggies were fresh, presentation was nice but their vegan chorizo & vegan chicken needs a bit of salt-liquid smoke- smoked paprika- garlic & onion- soy sauce and it will be FLAVORFUL!! Take it from a person who loves flavor and knows how to cook. LOL sounds like I should be cooking but I was too tired tonight, so takeout it was.I’ve been here a few times. The staff is super friendly. The food is good. Just missing salt & seasoning.

This is a beautiful, vegan restaurant on leafy, walkable Marion Street in Oak Park. You'll love the artwork and the music. If you like good food, good vibes, and pleasant, comfortable seating indoors and outside (when it's warm) then this is your jam. Yes, it's vegan, but nothing calls your attention to it, nor away from it. Good food served by good folk. We started with the Italian lentil soup, which was fulsome and savory. Truly some of the best lintel soups we have had. Then we were on to the Buffalo "Chicken" wrap, their special of the day. It tasted like any other chicken wraps, only much better. It had a little Mexican thing going on with it, which for this place was a little surprising and kept us biting. The Hippy Hemp salad was mouth watering. Their root beer was made with honey sweetener (if I remember correctly) and was so delicious it left me longing for summer, when I shall try their root beer float. Check this place out.

Sweet, intimate cafe in downtown Oak Park with friendly staff and delicious food. I found something I loved on my first visit, the enormous juicy beet burger kale salad, and have been coming back to split that with a friend at their summer sidewalk tables for years. That way we save room for a vegan root beer float! Last week I was in the mood for something to chase away the winter cold and tried the "chicken" parmesan with fettuccine. I was in heaven. It was rich and flavorful - and tasted just like chicken- but not too spicy and the portion size was big enough to split or take some home. Although I love the cozy artsy atmosphere and hibiscus tea, they seem to have a lot of customers who dash in and pick up their orders at the counter. So happy this gem of a place is helping the climate by serving amazing vegan and vegetarian food!
