Came here with family for a quick bite to eat and a few beers. They were short staffed but made sure to still check on us constantly. I would go back the next time i'm in oak park.

This brewery is fantastic. They offer a great variety of draughts and serve both a seasonal flight (try their new Oktoberfest!) and standard house flight. Their staff is very nice and knowledgeable. Their food is great. The Downtown location is very convenient as it's close to the L, shopping, restaurants, and more.

Sliders were tasty. Beer is adequate. Service while cheery is incredibly slow (at least during day shift). Definitely worth stopping in if your in the area looking to try some local beer, but not something worth going out of your way for

Over the last year or so, OPB has become one of my favorite places to hang out in Oak Park. I'm especially happy to have a place that is open for English Premier League soccer matches on weekend mornings. There are a bunch of great traditional beers. My favorite staples are the Helles, Kolsch and the London Britches Porter. The seasonals are generally pretty great as well. Most recently there has been the Contrasena which is a fabulous Tequila barrel-aged lime saison. The wings and sliders are delicious. I like the thai chili and bbq wings in particular. The pizza is fantastic as well. Hoping to see more soccer bar action here and to try more new seasonals. Nom nom nom.

Beer was good but service was absolutely terrible. My husband ordered his burger medium rare but it came back very rare and was inedible. He wanted to send it back but our server never once checked on us. So he ended up eating just fries for dinner. We also wanted to order more beer but we were ignored. Definitely won't be coming back.
I really like this place. It's a comfortable, local brew pub. The owner/brewmaster is great and has taught some very interesting history of beer classes through the park district. The menu changed quite a bit since Hamburger Mary's left, and I think it's a lot better now. There's more selection on the menu, and the quality has improved a lot. The OPBC burger is outstanding. Their deep dish pizza is better than area Chicago pizza chains, IMHO. Our kids have severe nut allergies, and they have been consistently very diligent about allergy avoidance.

Also had Jalapeno poppers which were very good but a little on the mushy side. Everything was exceptional and I will definitely go back to try more of their food. I already like their beer and I believe the rest of there food will be excellent also. You have a new customer.Staff was friendly and service was good. It was a beautiful night so we finished our last beer outside and enjoyed the weather. I must admit I had a slight buzz after the flight and 1 full pour.Great atmosphere and great beer and food ..Don't pass up this place its worth the trip
