“Nando's used to be my go to fast food joint when I lived in Perth, but the US one was just as good! Maybe the sauce were a tad different, but all in all it was amazing ?. There was a lady who took care of us, she would walk up to me when I was going over to ask her for something. Very attentive! The manager was great as well. He let us sample some of the lemonade to make sure we got the one we wanted. For sure I would be back to this location and Nando's may just replace my usual. The ambience too was the bomb! I loved everything. Garlic bread tasted authentic and the cauliflower on the rainbow salad. Get out! So so very good. And you know Nando's chicken will always hit the right spot. “I've heard a lot of hype around Nando's and knew I had to give it a try while I was in Chicago, since it isn't readily available on the west coast. We ordered the Spicy Chicken Kale Caesar Salad, 1/2 Chicken and Chips, and a draft beer. The peri-peri marinade is spicy, citrusy, and a little smoky, with the key ingredient being the African bird's eye chili. Since it was our first time, we opted for the mild spice, but there's also sauces at varying spice levels on the side. Overall, chicken was tender and the fries and brussel sprouts were decent, but I think I wasn't as wowed by the marinade as I expected. Perhaps I was expecting something more like jerk chicken due to my own unfamliarity with the cuisine, so I felt like the grilled chicken was lacking smoky, earthy flavor. Maybe it's a flavor that will grow on me if I give it a couple more chances haha.“

“Kind staff. We came before dinner rush. The front staff ( Obsnet) was friendly and assisted with my food questions. Then, checked in with us multiple times. I thought this was a self serve kinda place. Kudos to that front staff. Food came out fast, hot and delicious.“

“Best frango assado (grill chicken) the spices are combined just the right way. The level is spices, is according to your taste. Nice collection and selection of art from South Africa. It is a great mix of Portuguese cuisine and African cuisine. If you never tried it is a must, see for yourself. I bet you will enjoy it.“
