We had a terrible delivery experience. It took over two hours to get our order and had to call 4 times about our order. When it arrived, the driver said he was only given our food 15 minutes before he delivered it, so either he lied or the restaurant did, but either way, our order was also incorrect. We may go in to eat, but will never order delivery again from here.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are delicious.

The quality and presentation was a joke (see pictures). Expensive for what you get. Small rolls with barely any fish inside. Rice had ZERO flavor and soo mushy. I don't think they season their sushi rice at all. I could make them better at home. Waste of money.

My favorite sushi in the oak park area--and I just discovered yesterday that their M-F dine-in lunch special is amazing! 2 or 3 rolls for $12 or $14 respectively, plus miso soup. I'm going to come during the week way more often.

First time here and probably won't return. Had the teriyaki lunch special which came out to roughly $15. The portion size was not very generous but certainly enough to not be hungry afterward (I get full pretty quickly for context). Overall, the speed and quality of the service were both great. However the taste of the food was nothing special. I would say your calories and money could probably be better spent + stretch farther elsewhere or by choosing another menu item.

Couldnt be happier with everything about this place. The food is amazing, from sushi to ramen. The restaurant is small and cozy and everything about it including the food seems authentic. The service was friendly and ridiculously quick. Can't recommend enough.

We were there for lunch, and despite my mom not being a fan of sushi or raw food, we decided to order some cooked rolls, Bento and Ramen for the table. Surprisingly, my mom found everything to be delicious and even opened her mind about sushi. Spicy Edamame was a hit to start off. Our server, Nook, was friendly and attentive.We also tried the Spicy Ramen Noodle, and the broth was bursting with flavor. The level of heat was just right, providing a nice kick without overpowering the dish. The portion of pork belly was generous and savory. The only minor critique I have is that the noodles were a bit softer than I prefer, but it didn't diminish our overall enjoyment.We did not have a chance to try Bento because we were so full but brought it back home with us.Considering the quality and portion sizes, the price was reasonable. It's worth noting that they offer a lunch special from 11:30 am to 4 pm, and they also have outdoor seating available.Overall, I highly recommend and will definitely be returning soon.

Sagano Sushi is a family run sushi restaurant near downtown Oak Park. There were three in our party and we were all looking forward to midweek sushi. This place is not cheap with an average roll cost over $15. We started with grilled chicken skewers, the spicy crunch tuna roll and Rainbow roll. Son ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen. Both were very good and I would recommend both. The Rainbow roll was tasty. crunch on the other hand, was a bit dry. The rolls were very pretty to look at but a bit chewy. I would return again but order something different or maybe another noodle soup.

I had the lunch special with a side order of takoyaki, had to send the takoyaki twice because the centers were ice cold. The rest of the lunch special was cooked adequately.Parking: Park on the side streets for free
Service was good but we were the first ones there for lunch. It really needed some music as a result - way too quiet. The sushi was pretty good but not great. I'd give it 3.5 stars.

I used to order from Sagano regularly but I haven't enjoyed my last two meals since the new owners took over. I'll stick to Sen as my new go to sushi spot.
