I was a bit skeptical at the beginning as I got there in the middle of the afternoon. Once the tacos came and I took a bite I was hooked.Yes the tacos are $5 but they are LOADED. I had the chicken Al Pastor and the steak. Both insanely good. The staff is nice and the vibe is chill. If you are in Oak Park and have a taco craving head there. You won’t be disappointed.
Order from here often. Tonight was a big swing and miss.Two of three taco orders were either missing the veggies, or had an extremely small amount of meat (again, without veggies)The asada was also incredibly salty, like way beyond what it normally is.May be time to check in on your kitchen! Especially with the price we are paying.

Great tacos, fun atmosphere, and fast service. The steak tacos were extremely flavorful and the serving was very generous. Carnitas were super tender and the salsa was delicious. Prices are a higher, but the food is authentic and comes out right away, hot and fresh. Will return to try the chicken al pastor and margaritas.

Service was prompt and efficient. However, the food was lacking flavor. I had to ask for more sauce and salt to add to our food because everything tasted flat. I ordered the blackened fish taco with a side of black beans. My son ordered the carne asada tacos. The beans tasted like the canned variety with no (or very little seasoning). The atmosphere is really cool, they really nailed the ambience.

Really excellent food here! I started with chicken Al Pastor tacos which were out of this world good. Amazing combination from start to finish.Followed up with a carnitas taco which melted in my mouth. Incredible flavor and texture all around. I could easily put on some pounds eating here LOL!!I'll definitely come back! had the Nice little bar area serving some of the best tequilas out there.
Besides it being National Taco Day - What a find in Oak Park's Art District! The biggest hit for me were the handmade tortillas. Not thin, does not break apart, and compliments the taco fillings well. Carne Asada are thick, chunky pieces. Same goes for the Chicken Al Pastor and Carnitas. The meats are the real deal. Ordered a Poblano Peppers/Potato taco and the potato was definitely tasty and a nice textural difference. I saw a Mushroom taco and would not mind trying that whenever it is available. Also ordered a side of the pickled veggies. Toppings are simple and classic. No surprises there and that is how it should be. Ordered a small Classic Lime Margarita and can pass on that next time. Lunch Special and Family Pack look like a great deal/appealing. Friendly staff and welcoming owner. Would not mind making a trip out this way again.

Paid almost $20 for a marg to go. It was just sugared juice. I am a lightweight and didn't even have food. Sugared juice. If you want to grow your business, you might want to be honest with your products. I could have simply gotten fruit juice from Jewel for $4.
Terrific veg taco-bar selection is very limited.
