This was probably one of the nicest restaurants I've been to in the Chicagoland area. The staff is very welcoming and kind, especially a staff member there, Alberto Filliponi. He was extremely helpful. 10/10 would reccomend.

Encountered unprofessional behavior from certain staff members, despite multiple attempts to address the issue with management. Disappointingly, there was no apology offered. However, Arty's drinks were exceptional. Despite this, I won't be returning. Disappointed...

Absolutely stellar experience on a Sunday Funday at Devon’s Happy Hour! Amanda is a top-notch bartender who truly rocked the house with her exceptional service. From start to finish, she ensured our experience was nothing short of amazing. If you’re looking for a fantastic time, be sure to swing by on weekends, especially Sundays, and let Amanda take care of you. Five stars all the way! Drinks and Apps were amazing and mannnnn that ?? is straight ?.

This was the unique dining experience I would not like to repeat. The food was tasty: good size appetizers, great fillet mignon (side beans a bit too tender) but overall pretty delectable. Delicious crabcakes too.The ambiance of the place was totally opposite. From the start, the misunderstanding between the host of the party and management brought out the worst side out of the manager. He was arrogant and not pleasant. Instead of fixing the situation and meeting the party halfway, he put his foot down and made everyone feel unwelcome at the restaurant. What a way to show your staff how to lead by example ?.It’s really sad that chef’s creations will go unnoticed due to unskilled sniffy management. Will not be back.

This is my first review and unfortunately not a good one, because it was too much for one evening. My family came to this restaurant for the first time and had a very bad experience also for the first time in 20 years. It all started with a lie over the phone when I called them to reserve a table for my daughter's birthday. We wanted to find a place where we could bring a bottle of liquor and pay an opening fee at the restaurant. The lady I spoke to over the phone said yes, we could do that, but she put me on hold to confirm that information. When she returned to me she said: yes, any bottle (not just wine!) is ok to bring with us and pay opening fee of $20. When we came on Sunday to celebrate, the manager (who looked mean from when he met us at a front desk when we came) said that it is an Illinois law that prohibits bringing your own bottle to any restaurant (later that evening I found out that the state of Illinois has no rules about BYOB) and that a person who told me over the phone that we could do that was "just a random person". (didn't know that random people could answer the phone at the restaurant!) Another big thing was when servants (who came to our private room every other minute just to look around) handled hot dishes to 6 and 7 years old kids into their bare hands!!!At the end, when we received a check, there was a $398 banquet fee!!! It appeared that our so called private room was not that private, because there were 3 empty tables that could be used for other people to be seated at! (although the restaurant was almost empty all the time we were there and now I understand why). They lowered that fee but still we paid some amount for it. Manager was the meanest person that we ever saw at any other restaurants. Unfortunately don't remember his name, but remember that a guy was wearing glasses. Service was slow. They ruined my daughter's birthday by ruining our mood for the whole evening. We hoped that party would be fun for all but we left mad and disappointed. This is not how you treat your customers. Never again we are going to go there and wouln't recomend it to anyone. Not the cheapest but the worst restaurant we've been so far.

This is one of my favorite places and again it was a great experience. Went to celebrate my birthday and they did such a great job. A cute note on the table! My nephew who is the pickiest eater I know said the shrimp were the best he ever had. The lobster bisque and carrot cake were the bookmarks to my delicious lobster dinner. And a lavender cocktail! Such a great treat. I’m recommending this place to anyone who asks ?

Devon is exceptional. My friends and I had the luxury of enjoying dinner to celebrate 40 & fabulous birthday. Our server Johnny was very attentive, knowledgeable and relaxed. He was always visible and continuously checking on us. The food was delish, seasoned well and fresh. Devon’s atmosphere was intimate, cozy and inviting. Even the manager on duty stopped by to check in, she had a great personality as exceeded my expectations. Perfect date night spot, I will be returning. I give them four stars because there is always room for improvement. They could change the music to maybe some jazz.

We were seated at a booth in the bar area. It was comfortable but the noise level was a bit elevated. Would have preferred being seated in the dining room. Our server was attentive and courteous. Both of our cocktails were incorrect, but the bar order was rectified. Food was tasty and ample. The cioppino was way too spicy (hot). Chef went overboard on the red pepper flakes. Overall, a pleasant dining experience and we would recommend Devon to others.
