Absolutely wonderful atmosphere and delicious. It was a great time. The fried cauliflower was the best. And the catfish was chef's kiss.Vegetarian options: They will adapt the menu to your dietary needs.

First time here last night for dinner. My husband and I came in and the host told us to sit wherever we wanted. The waitress came over and said hello. The menu is digital . We first ordered the wings. Jamaican Heat and Garlic Parmesan. Those were really good but kind of pricey. 6 half wings for $10.00. For dinner we both ordered jambalaya. My husband got the chicken and sausage and I got the seafood. Both were good. The soup of the day chicken and rice was kinda bland. And I could have done without the salad. When we finished eating, we could not find our waitress. I think she left, she sat for 20 minutes waiting for someone to service us. We finally asked the hostess for the check and the to go boxes. The service could definitely be better. But the food was good

The food was yummy! But the service was poor. We were her only table on the restaurant side and she was not attentive. She bought the appetizers and entrées at the same time. Didn't come back to check on us. When we moved to the bar side the bartender made our drinks while talking on her cell phone - up to her ear! They started cleaning up around us and putting up the barstools/chairs at 1030pm and they didn't close till 11pm. If I go again I'll just get a carry out.

I ordered a salmon burger and the jambalaya through uber. The salmon burger had no fries no lettuce just onions and tomatoe. Jambalaya missing salad and bread. I called the restuarant thinking the driver either left my food or forgot it in his car. Nope, to my surprise the manager said they were out of fries. So you just going to give an half order for a full price? I asked why wouldn't they call me to tell me and provide a substitute? She just apologized and said this has been happening all week they are running out of food and the owner doesn't care. How can you sell items on your menu and dont have them? That is fraud. So basically get what I give you. Paid full price for half the food. Nope this is not acceptable. Then the manager offered to give me the items I was missing two days from when I ordered it. What am i going to do with lettuce,fries, salad, and bread. Really, then if I drive there and you tell me you don't have it because y'all ran out. Nope, I will not eat here again and pay full price for half the food. If the manager is saying the owner doesn't care please don't eat here, you never know what else they don't care about especially when making your food. The worse.

Our host Toni was so welcoming and ready to offer suggestions. Food was great, actually cleaned my plate. No live music but DJ was on point.Definitely returning with more family and friends.

I wish I could give a half star because 3 isn't quite right. Nice ambience, good ol school music at just the right level. Had the catfish and it was lightly coated and cooked just right. The only downside was the service. Went for dinner on a Tuesday at 6pm and there were only 2 staff members taking care of the customers. One person acting as a hostess and the bartender. Was greeted by "what's up?" when I needed to flag down the hostess and she then seated me at a table that was wet from the previous guests. To the credit of Redwood, the bartender came around to check on guests and saw the table was wet and offered to wiped it clean. All in all, I would go back but would watch out for the young hostess.

The salmon is flavorful and the veggies were seasoned perfectly. I have also had the chicken and sausage jambalaya and it too was seasoned to perfection. They are cooking up great quality food every time i come in the door and highly recommend them.

My experience was ok. They want you to seat yourself when you walk in. There was only one server the whole time we were there so she was super busy. I ordered a Long Island, top shelf, and it was nasty, couldn't even drink it. Then I ordered a strawberry margarita, it was good. I ordered some chicken wings, I've had better. My mom ordered the stuffed mushrooms, she didn't like them. I also ordered the Cajun jambalaya, very good Probably won't come back here tho.

the food was okay. the pasta Diablo dish was huge. my problem with the place was that we were slapped with an 18% auto gratuity for a party of 2. we were the only people in the dining room and there wasn't anything written on the menu indicating that that was the policy (we did see signage, after the fact, that dine in orders would be subject to that policy). the service was marginal... that's my problem with the auto gratuity in this situation, it gives servers the ability to give sub par service without repercussions.

I had the spicy pasta diablo. It lived up to its name! It was very spicy and full of flavor. The service was excellent also. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We stopped in for dinner as it was my first visit and they did not disappoint. The drinks and food was delicious. I will return soon.

The food was excellent and arrived at the table while it was hot, something that is very important to me! We had buffalo and barbecue wings; crabs cakes; house salad and chicken rice soup. The average rating is because the server did not check on our table often: we had to ask for drink refills we were not informed of the cost of refills we were not offered bread we learned of the eat in tax when our bill arrived More upfront information would improve this rating.

I haven’t been to Redwood since June,2021, and that was an awful experience. Here’s why: It was one of the hottest days of the summer, the air conditioning was limited, and there were flies everywhere. Not only were the swarm of flies distracting because all we did was swat at them, but in they kept landing on our food. So, we paid and left- we even left a tip bc it wasn’t the waitress’ fault. Now, fast forward to today, 3/18/22. I thought that it would be a fun experience to grab drinks with a couple of colleagues after work like we used too, but when I arrived at 3:30 p.m. a waitress informed me that Redwood does not open until 4 p.m. and pointed to a yellow 8 by 11 sign taped to the glass. Now, I’m no business owner, but that’s not what the website has listed. I immediately texted my friends to go elsewhere. This place is a Class A joke. I will not try again!

Great food and vibes. The food menu is pretty expansive and delicious. The drinks and music are great too! Great place to catch drinks after work or on the weekend.
