Sorry to say because I've heard some good things about this place. Maybe it was a bad day, we ordered 2 corn beef sandwiches, they were dry as the sierra desert. No mustard, no onions , just meat on bread, the pickle and the chips were the best part of this $20 meal. No one has money to waste these days, but if you do, order these dry, tasteless sandwiches. They really deserve no stars for this. I guess it's a hit or miss here, but don't hAve money to be playing games.

My fiancé put me on about this place . Every since I had to have it. I only get their corned beef sandwich. Which is better than AP cause of size back in the day AP was good . This place is the bomb my fiancé comes from the west side of Chicago to get our sandwiches. The staff if friendly and kind please try you won’t be disappointed. If you like AP deli you will love AD deli PROMISE. ?

Very small portions That don't match their prices. When this restaurant opened up they would give you A full piece of catfish Then they cut the catfish in half And now I believe they're giving quarters. If you are the unfortunate one to be there when they are serving greens or sweet potatoes That are at the end of the Pan they will scrape the pieces out and give you those as a portion instead of replacing the pan.

Horrible me and my sister first and last time ever going here we waited a hour until they realized they forgot about our 63dollar order the guy comes out and ask what did we order I showed him the receipt 10min later he comes out with 5dinners NOTHING WHAT WE ORDERED WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OF LOOKING AT THE RECEIPT i asked for a refund because I refused to wait another hour

This is the BEST corned beef!!!!! The food is delicious and the customer service is superlative!!!! Everyone I've encountered has been happy, upbeat, friendly, helpful, and funny!!! You will not be disappointed!!!

D.A.'s Deli and Dining, could be better, but its in the wrong location. The southern cooking would be a better served in a different area. Most of the food on their buffet table is good but because they don't get the business they need, their food sits up too long and gets dry. On Wednesday's they have a Corn Beef Sandwich Special buy one sandwich and get the second sandwich for half price. From time to time the corn beef may be a little fatty but D.A.'s Deli is still a good place for a good meal, They also have a live performances one day a week.
They have greens, beans, potatoes , tomatoes, chicken you name it! My favorite is the short ribs of beef with macaroni and cheese and greens. The soul food here is off the chain. When I tell you that you don't have to wait on grandma to cook Sunday dinner anymore if you don't want to. Pull up to D.A deli and you can have some bomb soul food and the desert to match. My favorite desert here is the peach cobbler. If you are in the area don't miss out on this food.

Yesterday was the first time I've ever eaten at this place. I bought 2 salmon croquette dinners for $16.99. I took mine to work to eat on my break. The salmon was from a can because it had all of those little soft bones still in the salmon pattie. The didn't even bother to remove the bones. I had orded 2 sides w both meals collard greens and corn on the cob. My husband said his came with both of the sides. I had 2 sides of greens. Y'all got me. But never again! Next time I'll be sure to read the reviews. I should have brought it back and threw that shitty food through the drive thru window where it came from!

Great food. Excellent customer service. My family and I were taken care of during my Uncle's passing. Despite restuarants being closed due to the most recent event, the manager offered to cater our food to our new location of the repast. Thank you again to you and your staff.

Service was absolutely horrible! Food was cold and undercooked. The manager Rose was extremely nasty and needs to be fired! When I approached the owner about my concerns he threw his hands in my face and told me he didn’t have time to talk to me and told me he spends thousands of dollars to train his workers. I can’t tell! I will never eat here EVER again. Please don’t waste your money
