Food was ok, great chicago hotdog and fries. . Italian sausage didn’t taste fresh. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Bathrooms were disgusting and my feet were sticking to the floor. This place has always been a standard in our rotation but not anymore. Also has gotten very pricey. Makes me wonder if it’s been sold??

Ya this place sucks since the new owner took over. Huge miscommunication between what he enters vs what the kitchen makes. Constantly blames the system. 3 people were in line and the phone rings and he tells the staff not to answer because they're too busy.

The hot dog was very tasty, but $1.10 for a squirt of cheese, bringing the total to over $5 for a hot dog? Really?The man at the cash register, taking orders, said they were down two people. That's stl no reason to be barking at your customers.

The food is always good and hot. This last time the little confused and the guy that usually works in the back to cook. The food was out in front taking orders and he had no idea at all. What he was doing and actually angered a couple of older women that had came in by his comments. Also, their prices have gone app big time. It's like $15 for a hot dog. A small fry and a small drink. Not sure if I'm going Back.

I’m so disappointed and sad to say I will never eat at dons hotdog again. This new owner is a tool and quality sucks and atmosphere sucks. I never see any original staff anymore and I wonder why. I’ve been coming here since I was 12 years old, I even started taking my daughters here years ago. Ever since they changed ownership the love and passion has left this once great place. Knowing from the little interactions I’ve had from with the owner, these reviews won’t matter. I work with the original owners family member and I report to them all the time lately that this new owner is disgraceful and ruining the Don’s name. Our community that fell in love with the Don’s we once knew needs to get this joke of an owner out of here. Please I think it’s time us OG customers take a stand and not return to this place and remember the good experience we once had.

I loved the organic Don's. This place is good but not as good as the one on 151sr street. It doesn't seem like they steam their buns here. They were kind of hard and cold. But otherwise good, better than Joey's any day.

Use to go to Dons all the time. It was great. Recently went back and wow, it’s gone downhill, which I’m sad to see.Food was not how I remembered it, they must’ve changed food vendors because the quality was comparable to hospitals cafeteria food. Plus, you just cant have customers waiting 20+ minutes at a hotdog joint. The owner needs to pull his head out of his caboose and run this place properly or call it quits.

Overpriced and under staffed. I ordered a hotdog with fries and waited twenty minutes only to ask for a refund. I went to Joey's hotdogs just down the street. I got my hotdog and fries (the fries are included at Joey's not at this place. )it took all of 30 seconds and it cost less. Never go back!This place sucks ?

The old guy, the owner should never be allowed to take orders, he can't understand simple orders and tries to make it like you said it wrong, when someone can't figure out what "hey I need 2 hot dog specials, one with everything and one with no cucumber" and he can't figure out that means 4 hotdogs and 2 fries (cuz it's the special) and then argues with you.... No good, used to be the BEST hotdog joint until very recently damn shame

Been coming here since it opened and I'm sorry to say I'm very unhappy. Went in twice since the new owner took over and both times he had trouble getting the order right and made it seem like I was the problem. C'mon pal it's a couple of dogs and fries. how hard is that. Kitchen staff has been replaced and are inefficient. Prices have been raised and approaching Five Guy's levels. Will be driving farther to go to Widens in Orland Park.

Came here after a long day of work for a quick dinner. Was interested in the 2 Hot Dog Special with fry. (No drink). It was $9.99. See picture?! I ended up paying $11.42 for this $9.99 Two Hot Dog Special. After I paid and realizing the numbers don’t match, I asked one of the kids.. and he said that they must not have updated it in the register. I’m like ?? Apparently what I’m thinking, is that I paid with my card (doesn’t state on my receipt that I was charged card surcharge). But their prices do not match. No wonder why they are always closed. The kids there don’t know customer service very well. No common sense either.Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair accessibility, have to use stairs.
