It was a rainy Wednesday evening. Along with my mom who is visiting from Europe, were done shopping in Orland and we wanted to try Stan's donuts ? for first time. It was about 6 pm. Drove through drive through and were informed that they sold out of all the Donuts except for carrot cake minin at 3 for $4.00. I opted for that since there was really nothing else. Out of the (seconds and around a corner drive through window) came a tiny bag, a little bigger then my palm, and in it were indeed 3 tiny mini carrots cake donuts. You would have to stack them 3 high to BE bite size. Super cute and pretty tasty. But at 4 bucks I feel like there needed to be 3 times that to feel like it was equal to one normal donut

Pros: Music selection is great, the buildout is quite attractive, and the donuts are pretty good. I keep returning for these factors as well as the generally quiet atmosphere.Cons: slow and often inattentive service. Very often you will wait a while to be served or if you return to the counter with a question, the employees will take several minutes to serve you. My biggest critique is the lack of care for a beautiful space. I think the aesthetics of Stan's are great. Clearly, the owner and whoever was hired to design the space had a great vision. I greatly prefer this space to locations I have visited downtown. However, the staff does a poor job maintaining the dining area and bathrooms. Tables are never wiped and trash cans often overflow. I have spent 2 hours working at a table without seeing a single employee check the eating area or restrooms. On the subject of restrooms, the floors are sticky and poorly scrubbed. I've experienced multiple occasions in which I've had to use the bathroom and discovered it to be in poor condition. Finally, there is a fruitfly infestation which I have observed over the last few months of visiting.I write this review because I see a lost opportunity for Stan's to care for their reputation and beautiful coffee shop. I am hopeful that whoever manages this location will be prompted to create a cleaning schedule and retrain staff to a higher standard of maintenance for this adorable shop.

Pretty bad customer service, when you walk in, you see the employees, but they don't see you? It was my first time there, so I ask them if I have to order first for breakfast, or if someone came to the table to takes the order, I never heard their answer because they didn't came close they still doing whatever they Where doing, I finally order Doughnut, and one of their breakfast sandwiches, nothing was good, except the coffee; in addition it is very expensive place.

I wanted to purchase a half dozen assorted and half dozen standard. The person filing the orders gave me the wrong donuts, even though I repeatedly told her that wasn't what I wanted. I thought she had corrected it because she told me it's fine. After I leave and open the box, it's full of donuts I didn't want.I was then overcharged for these donuts because they charged me for a dozen assorted instead of the half dozen assorted and half dozen standard I asked for.I will not be returning.

Stan’s food is good. No doubt. But the online order for pickup has let me down every single time. Time after time my order is messed up,if it’s forgetting to put bacon on a stanwich or giving me the wrong stanwich altogether. This time I came in and I saw my pickup order on their counter next to the donuts. Not on the pickup shelf. I waited for 10 minutes until no one was ordering food. I asked the employee who was not helping anyone if that was my pickup order. She tells me when the order is completed that it would be put on the pickup shelf. After another ten minutes I took it upon myself to check if that was indeed my order. It was. My food had sat behind the counter for 20 minutes and all the employee had to do was check it. It was now 30 minutes from the original time of me placing my order. I asked to speak to a manager, and she apologized and went to remake my food. But not my hot chocolate. I get home and the hot chocolate was barely warm. This all could’ve been avoided if the employee would have done their job and helped the customer(me) as asked to do so. She was not helping anyone and just standing there. I will never order on the app or order pickup from this location again. Very dissatisfied with the customer service here. Wasted 30 minutes of my time waiting for something that should have been ready when I arrived as stated in the order confirmation.

This Stan's is located in Orland and I've been here numerous times but this is the first time I have reviewed. My most recent visit I only got a single cake donut with chocolate frosting and sprinkles. It was decorated with Valentine's sprinkles. I walked in and I was the only person in line. There were 2 workers and no one acknowledged me, they were busy talking. One worker glanced at me but didn't say anything as I looked at the display case. I walked down towards the cash register and said hello. One of the two said oh hi did you decide what you want? I said yeah and walked back down towards the donuts and told her my order. This was after a few minutes had passed. I paid, got my donut and sat down. That's not the kind of service I expect or deserve. I believe a customer should be greeted upon entering and asked if they can be helped especially when there is no other customers in line. Usually I haven't encountered that type of service here so this was disappointing. I like the decor and vibe of Stan's. It's decorated cute and there's a lot of seating. There's also cute Stan's merch to buy which I have purchased. My donut was good which was the saving grace of this experience. I have also purchased pretzel bagels here before and I like those too and the pistachio donuts are good as well. The coffee is also good but after the dismal service I received I doubt I will be back for awhile bc I don't deal with lackluster service!Parking: Free parking lotKid-friendliness: It's kid friendly
