Wonderful drop in place. Great service, yummy eats (nothing heavy) and great wine selection. They even had decks of cards to play a fun game. Live music was nice, just a bit loud since the place is brick with no noise absorption. We'll be back.

I did add a bit of vanilla for a subtle flavor but the coffee has a richness that many other places can’t seem to accomplish.Food:I ordered the bacon egg & cheese bagel - overall, flavor was decent. Bacon was cooked perfectly, but could’ve been drained better before putting it on the sandwich. Excuse the quality of the picture, I forgot to take one before I started eating it lol - but you can see how greasy it was and it was all over my hands after I finished it.If you’re just grabbing a drink this place is great! If you’re hungry too, there aren’t many options, and it’s a bit expensive, so I’d personally recommend elsewhere for food.

The brown sugar bacon Gouda egg sandwich is so delicious! I go there just for that sometimes. Every latte I've had has been really good and they rotate fun flavors. Staff is always friendly and efficient!

Love it!!! Wonder space & while it's January I want to come back in the spring when they roll up the "garage doors" that frame the building. Lovely spot to have a cup of tea and chat w a friend. The space is very comfortable and service is excellent!!
Stumbled upon this cool coffee spot—it's seriously great! The coffee is top-notch, and the vibe is laid-back. Whether you're working or just hanging out, it's a solid choice. Definitely a go-to for some quality caffeine vibes. And cute little area by the river, highly recommend.

Connie the owner spends much of her time at her “baby” Oak and Bean!Connie’s love of her place is measurable, because when you walk in the door you see SMILES ? all over the place.Wonderful selections of coffees and wines. I have not had anything to eat yet. I bought a gift card for my wife, so food will probably next. ?If you enjoy a community gathering with drink, food and merryment I believe you will enjoy this place… give it a try and prove me right! ??

The food and quality of drinks are a premium, however, service continues to be a challenge at Oak + Bean. Ordered two drinks today, after one of the baristas continued to say second drink is ready and call out the name, I mentioned my drink should have been iced. Someone else that was extremely rude and short said this is not your drink, and called out someone else's name. I get it, the coffee shop was busy and clearly this woman was working on the espresso portafilter that was causing issues, however, it was not necessary to be so rude. Please coach the employees to double check the drink names before calling them out, and allow the customers to choose whether or not the drinks should have a sleeve. The sleeves are placed so tightly on the cups that it makes it difficult to pull down. Having managed my own coffee shop, the service is what sets apart small coffee shops. I do not appreciate attitude or the accusatory tone that the barista made a mistake, and you blame the paying customer. Here's a tip Oak + Bean, take the time to properly train employees to double check names and accuracy of orders before calling out names. Last thought, spend the extra money and get branded cups, and be considerate of the environment not placing sleeves on every drink even iced drinks!

Stumbled upon this Gem of a coffee shop while out and about. Lovely place to stop and read or journal. I ordered the hot chocolate with Almond milk and a Bacon egg and cheese bagel. Loved the fact that there were other milk alternatives available and that both drink and food had exceptional flavor. Very nice ambiance and the music was one of the best coffee shop playlists I’ve ever heard. Overall 10/10 would recommend!Parking: Parked around the corner just outside the parking garage in front of the park, and walked about 1 minute to the coffee shop, although there was a parking garage available that had plenty of open spots as well.
