Nothing too exciting, wait staff liked to talk more then serve drinks. Had the Italian beef, and I also have had really tough, dry beef jerky and they were a pretty close match. Wasn't anything like the Italian beef I've had elsewhere.

Spent 40.00 on take out. Patty Melt, 2 chicken caeser salads, cup of chili and cup of chicken noodle soup. Patty Melt barely had onions on it and was pretty bland. Chili was blend of sweet with little spicy undertone and soup tasted like it came out of a can. The salads were the worst I have ever had. Lettuce was warm and dressing tasted nothing like any caeser I have ever had and for $11.00 looked like small side salad. Couldn't eat salads dressing and temp were that bad. Took 3 bites of chili and threw soup out. Not worth $40.00. Bartender was super nice however. Visiting from out of town so rely on reviews.

Food was low quality, worst onion rings I've ever seen. Philly cheese steak was made with cheese whiz. Service was really slow too. Not really sure why this place is so high rated, I could make better food at home, go anywhere else.

Great spot to meet for motorcycle or any other groups looking to explore Starved Rock Country. Located perfectly off major intersection and near gas stations, repair shops , and Shopping. They open early enough to enjoy a Bloody Mary before a good day of riding, and serve delicious, fresh, inexpensive food for the longer treks.Owner/Manager was super nice, cool guy. I'm not sure how the betting works but I'm positive they would be happy to help you out.Definitely will return soon.

This place is truly a hidden gem. Food is excellent and service rocks. The bartender we had was a older gentleman and was polite and struck up conversations with all his customers. He made you feel like family. Small but spacious place. Try the chilli and cheese curds. They are off the chain.

The greatest first experience. The service was prompt and attentive. The food was nothing less than extraordinary! 12/10 will dine here again whenever I'm back in the area.

Hidden gem right here! It is a very nice place, but you would think that from the looks of it the place is all about OTB. But their food is ridiculously good. Best Hamburger, Chicken sandwhich & onion rings I have had in Ottawa is at Furlongs. The soup in the winter was really good too. Prices are great, you gotta try this place and GET THE ONION RINGS. Also, if you look on their site the Chicken sandwich isn't listed but trust me, get it.

I've been here a couple times. Both times the service and food has been excellent. The food is always steaming hot! It was my daughter's 22nd birthday, and he brought her not only a fried Twinkie and ice cream dessert but also a birthday drink and 1 to share! Idk what was in the Vegas Bomb (besides crown royal

We stopped here for dinner on our way home from SD. The place was impeccably clean. Our waiter, who I think was the owner, was excellent, very friendly, and very attentive. The food was excellent, especially for two road-weary bikers. Thank you for a great dinner and rest stop.

It was lunch time and as usual, we were out of town and hungry. Saw this place out of the corner of my eye as we passed. Pulled into a parking place, walked in and we were met by a bunch of people reading and intently watching the TV. Not only is this place a decent place to grab a bit of food, but it's also an Off Track Betting Parlor. Nice menu with all the basic bar good goodies. I decided on the grilled buffalo chicken wrap and an ice tea. My wife got the walleye sandwich and an ice tea. The wrap was very good, chicken was moist with a nice blend of lettuce, tomato and buffalo sauce. The walleye was deep fried with an interesting batter. My wife finally realized that the batter was very similar to a local establishment in Ladd that specializes in chicken. Coincidence? The walleye was good, a bit more batter than my wife likes, but the fish was very tasty. Service was good and prompt. Was fun watching the bettors and the horse races while we ate. Give it a try, it's worth the stop.
