I’ve ordered from here a few times, but today’s dish of Chicken 65 was AMAZING. I had never tried Indian food until a few months ago and I can’t wait to try everything on the menu at Indian Bistro. Today was the first time I actually went inside and the employees could not have been sweeter. What a kind group of hard working people. And the atmosphere was so nice and inviting. I will for sure be back.Vegetarian options: There is a large vegetarian section and just as delicious as the meats.Parking: Parking is right out front. Easy.Wheelchair accessibility: My kids love the rice and butter bread.

This is the quick lunch spot anyone in the Palatine area needs to keep in their arsenal. Butter Chicken and Samosas were delicious. Could use more rice, but maybe that is why the cashier encouraged us to add-on some bread. Don't let the paper plates fool you, this place means business. Lunch on Sunday was about $12 per meal, but the weekly lunch special is only 8-10 depending on what you get. Atmosphere was lacking, but the TV playing cricket with Hindi audio was a vibe. Probably will get it as takeout next time, but I will be back!

An Palatine Indian gem! I have been coming here for around 7-8 years at this point. One of my favorite Indian restaurants in the area. The inside of the restaurant is small, and seats around 15 people, but it is clean and welcoming. Employees/owners are very nice. Their pricing is a tiny bit higher than average, but most of the food includes a small container of rice which is nice, and makes up for the little extra they charge. Food quality is very good, and the food is delicious. I wish they had naan, but I know Indian restaurants from some regions don't always have naan, but they do have other breads like roti and paratha. Can't go wrong with this place! Try the lamb korma or murgh makhani!

Hair in Aloo PronthaI was hoping to have a good experience here but found a hair of a beard in aloo prontha while eating it. The owner said ‘mistake happens’ I agree but none of the guys cooking in the kitchen wear any kind of hair nets. That’s unacceptable!!! No hygiene at all!! This happened on February 14th 2024 at 1:25pm. We returned all our orders and they shamelessly accepted with no hesitation or a refund. We didn’t ask for a refund anyways! They are not following the laws of restaurant kitchen.

Hands down the best food I've ever had. The lamb kadai and rice pudding is out of this world. Typing this review as I'm eating because I couldn't wait to give this place a 5 star rating.

Wow! So glad Indian Bistro is close to home and STILL doing great over the past 2 decades! I was craving South Indian food last night but unfortunately, my favorite go-to restaurant- Priya in Schaumburg- didn't have a working website! So, I adjusted my craving to North Indian food and decided to order online from Indian Bistro instead! It was the RIGHT choice! I previously ordered from them in June 2021--the food and service then was great! This time, I ordered even more food--almost $180 (including 20% tip)! My order was ready 5 minutes early, was accurate--and most importantly, absolutely hot, fresh and mind-blowingly delicious and comforting, in light of this weekend's horrible arctic weather!!! The inside of the restaurant was clean, minimalist in decor and brightly lit. Not that many diners inside that freezing cold night, BUT there were a TON of take orders that were after mine, in the process of being cooked! Anyway, I'm so glad I ordered from these guys again! I can see why the majority of the customers here during both times I've come in were/are 99.9% Indian! Indian Bistro does Indian cuisine RIGHT, quick, and efficiently!!!

I just tried this place and it is fantastic. I am definitely ordering from here again. The food has a great kick. I ordered the chicken sagwala and veggie samosas. Can’t wait to try other items.

Asli Dilli da Khaana. If you Blind-tasted the menu, you would pay atleast double.Hands down the best Indian food there is!!I once went there about 10 years back. Been going back there ever since. No one makes a fresher Chaat than them.Veg Biryanis are pretty abysmal universally. But this place changed that. I go back just for it.The Butter Chicken and the Malai Kofta are stand outs..Worth the drive to Palatine. One of the few gatekeepers of Indian Cuisine.Vegetarian options: The Best Indian food by a long mile.

Was actually pretty impressed as the food was pretty good. There not much seating, so FYI this is pretty much a take out place. The only complaint I have is that I got Butter Chicken instead of the dish I ordered which was Chicken Tikka Masala. Not the worst mistake, but not what I had ordered.

A week ago, late in the evening, my son and I found ourselves hungry and wanted to get Indian food. We Googled and found Indian Bistro, which online says is open until 9:30 pm, but it actually closes at 9:00 pm on weekdays. Despite arriving just 30 minutes before closing, the staff was incredibly friendly, kind, and willingly taking our order. The food surpassed our expectations, being both delicious and generous in terms of sauces and meat—the essentials. However, the portion of rice was on the smaller side, which is fine since we didn’t go there to eat rice ;-). Considering we paid over $30 for two dishes, bread and a drink, we expected better-quality plates and containers, but they were very flimsy. When you open the containers, it can get a bit messy. The place is perfect for a take-out.The Chicken Tikka Masala was delicious but had no kick, even though we didn’t request it to be mild. The Lamb dish was delicious, full of flavor. Because you get so much delicious sauces, we just made fresh rice, and had dinner next day. The paratha bread was another highlight, so delicious that I ordered couple extra pieces home. The staff, didn’t mind even though they were closing in a few minutes. If you want a good Indian to-go food - this is a place. We will definitely be ordering from there againParking: Small plaza parking
