Walking into the shop will remind you of Willy Wonka with treats from floor to ceiling in every shape, size, and type. My favorite is actually their donuts (cider spice in the fall in particular). Always a great place for your Valentine gift or basket for friends or clients.

I ordered a chocolate sculpture of a dog and it came out great. I had it sent to my mom's house for Christmas and she loves it. The manager helped me over the phone with the shipping and was very nice and answered all my questions. Will order again.

Went in there based on an article in Chicagoparent as a recommendation for hot chocolate. It was okay definitely had better was getting chunks towards the end.The kids enjoyed the apple caramel.We tried the clusters the toffee was a hit, the nut ones couldn’t taste the kinds of nuts…assuming they were a bit stale
This place is magical! Unfortunately, I am also diabetic and it magically made my blood sugar go up just from smelling how good everything was! My wife LOVED the shoes!!!!

I went to Marks chocolates on October 31 Halloween. I picked up a half dozen pumpkin donuts they were so greasy that half of them had to be thrown out and then had a piece of chocolate. It was free because I was a new customer. It was very old. I then had a cookie that was a pumpkin fudge type of cookie. It had a flavor like chemicals. We couldn't even eat it. Please do not visit this place I went there and was waited on by a person that was rude. This is the first and last time I will ever be at this place if you want good food, good treats go somewhere else this is not worth your time I'm not even giving it one star. Since I can't post without giving at least one star, I'm giving it one star, but in reality, this play shouldn't have even one star.

I had never heard of Morkes until one day I was in Palatine on business and spotted this place out of the corner of my eye. I am so glad that I stopped in, for I was immediately transported to a magical world of old school charm and delicious treats, simply an unforgettable experience.
