Such a disappointment. This was my favorite sushi restaurant for the last 10 years! I think, recently, they’ve had a change in ownership because their hours are different (wrong hours on google) and they completely changed their menu and got rid of ALL their well known and loved rolls. There is not much on the menu now and they upped the prices of their rolls so now the basic rolls cost just as much as the specialty rolls used to. And, there’s no way to contact the managers/owners. I tried sending a Facebook message and the response I got back was from someone who used to manage the restaurant 10 years ago but doesn’t work there anymore. I know this place had a hard time staying open but why would you get rid of the rolls that are bringing in the most revenue?!

I used to come here frequently when I worked in the area. The food has always been consistently good and the staff is friendly. I was here a week ago with a friend and everything tasted just as I had remembered. They have really awesome lunch specials!

Unfortunately, I feel compelled to leave this review even though the staff was friendly. This establishment is very troubled and I wish them well, but we won't be back. 5:45 reservations on a Friday and we were the only ones there when we arrived. We placed a relatively simple order within minutes of arrival, but didn't get any food served and had to leave without a meal to get to our 7pm show just down the street at the high school. Big disappointment. There was one sushi chef and lots of take out orders being filled, but even after notifying them (at 6:25pm) that we needed to leave by 6:55pm, no progress was made on our order placed an hour earlier (yet take-out boxes were still getting priority). Two other tables came in within this time and orders weren't taken from these tables for over 30 minutes. The only softdrink available was Pepsi (no lemonade, no sprite, nothing), the wine my husband ordered was unavailable and glasses for water were not cleaned properly. We have dined here in the past and we're okay with things, but I think this place just doesn't have enough staff to run effectively. I wish them luck!

I have never been so disappointed in my entire life! My family likes sushi so we picked this restaurant. I ordered a filet which was on the menu. It comes with miso soup, salad and a potato croquette which sounded quite interesting. I was brought the soup and salad with no fork to eat it with. I was also told they don't have any filets but suggested a new york strip. I said OK. When everyone else was done eating, the waiter asked if we needed anything else and I asked for my steak dinner. They eventually brought me the steak with no potato. I asked for the potato and they told me they didn't have any! The steak was too tough to chew (and I have excellent teeth). My daughter ordered one entree and got the wrong thing so they had to go back and make her the correct entree. When we were eating our dessert, the waiter brought out the potato which was then too cold to eat. I humbly suggest you take your business elsewhere!

Most of it was rather ordinary and uninspired, the california roll had a slightly different taste and seemed to have been around for a while, the mixed vegs were bland, all-in-all we were not impressed. Their emphasis is very much on sushi and sashimi, which may well be very good, but for us the plated items on the menu not so much.

I usually love sushi ai but I got it for pickup today and got a shrimp tempura roll and the shrimp was not deveined. Made me lose my appetite
I'm new to the area and was really looking forward to trying Sushi-Ai. I placed an order for pickup and was told arrive at 6:20, which I did. I waited until 6:55 to receive my food. Another customer that was in there waited from 6:20 to 6:45 before finally being fed up and left. Another client was waiting for 20 mins after suggested time. I don't mind waiting for food, but being told an incorrect time was really annoying. Also, all the food I ordered was very simple and easy to prepare. All nigiri and one basic spicy salmon roll. The nigiri was super bland, the spicy salmon roll was not good at all. Low quality fish, rice didn't have good hold. Normally I'm a person that gives restaurants a second chance...but this one will not be.

Came here with my best friend and the service was awful. It took us 30 minutes just to get water, 45 just to have an order taken, and then it was not until an hour and a half after arriving that we even received our order — which consisted of 3 sushi rolls. There were only 2 tables (including ours) that was seated.I was excited to try this place after seeing reviews raving about the experience/service or the sushi quality itself but neither the sushi from here nor the service is not at all something I’d come back for.
